The Naked Texture Artist is a podcast where VFX/animation veterans have deep and honest conversations about their challenges and growth as working artists.  It is very exciting to find people who think deep and hard thoughts about the work we do and the industry we work in. We are not short on people, who can teach us how to carry out the work, but the bigger questions about the VFX industry and our role in it, are harder to answer.  Daniel Harkness, in addition to his work as a compositor and motion designer, writes his excellent observations on LinkedIn.  I think for all of us, this period, in the industries of VFX, animation and games, has been a grim reminder that we are living in a house of cards.
