    The Great White Throne

Revelation 20:7-15 — "The Great White Throne" | Revelation 20:7-15 (ESV) Thy Will Be Done - Week 36 - Part Eight: The Thousand Years Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches "The Great White Throne" from Revelation 20:7-15 (ESV), Week 36 of Thy Will Be Done and Part Eight: The Thousand Years. The thousand years end, Satan is released, and the last uprising lasts about one verse before fire comes down. Then a great white throne, the books opened, and the sea and Death and Hades giving up their dead so that not one person is missing from the accounting. Everyone is judged by works. That is exactly why works cannot save. This morning we will see: • Evil does not give up without a fight • Everyone is judged by works, but works do not save us • The only book that matters is the book of life Get your name in Christ's book of life. Fight the good fight in confidence, because Jesus wins. And while you are here: live, love, and share Jesus. The Thousand Years

Revelation 20:1-6 — "The Thousand Years" | Revelation 20:1-6 (ESV) Thy Will Be Done - Week 35 - Part Eight: The Thousand Years Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches "The Thousand Years" from Revelation 20:1-6 (ESV), Week 35 of Thy Will Be Done and Part Eight: The Thousand Years. An angel comes down from heaven holding a key and a great chain, and three verses later the dragon is shut in and sealed. Then John sees thrones. This morning we will see: • The devil's power is limited by time and scope. Verse 3 names both limits, and neither is his to set. An angel with a key ends it. • The martyred are blessed and resurrected first. They refused the mark the beast forced on small and great, and it cost them their heads. Now they are seated. • In Christ, there is no second death. The thousand years is not the new heaven and new earth; it is the safe place before it, the way the groom made a safe place for the bride. Over those in the first resurrection the second death has no power. Be saved, safe, and sealed by salvation in Christ. Live in bold confidence: fear not. Testify, because those who suffered were not forgotten. Faithful and True

Revelation 19:11-21 — "Faithful and True" | Revelation 19:11-21 (ESV) Thy Will Be Done - Week 34 - Part Seven: The Marriage and the Rider Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches "Faithful and True" from Revelation 19:11-21 (ESV), Week 34 of Thy Will Be Done and Part Seven: The Marriage and the Rider. Heaven opens and a rider comes out on a white horse. His robe is already dipped in blood before the battle begins, and the armies behind him wear wedding linen and carry nothing. This morning we will see: • The names of Christ testify to His authority. Faithful and True (Revelation 3:14), a name no one knows (Judges 13:18), the Word of God (John 1:1), and King of kings and Lord of lords (Deuteronomy 10:17). He rides out as the warrior King of Psalm 45 and treads the winepress alone (Isaiah 63:1-3). • Two suppers are set, and everyone is at one of them. Verse 9 invites guests to the marriage supper of the Lamb; verse 17 calls the birds to the great supper of God in the words of Ezekiel 39:17-20. Wisdom and Folly set the same two tables in Proverbs 9, and Jesus said that where the body is, there the eagles gather (Luke 17:37). • Like Babylon, the beast, Satan, and all evil will fall. The kings gather against the LORD and his anointed (Psalm 2:1-4), and he slays the wicked with the breath of his lips (Isaiah 11:4). The beast is given to the burning flame Daniel saw (Daniel 7:11), and the battle ends in a verse. Come to the supper as a guest, not as the meal: come, buy, and eat, without money (Isaiah 55:1-3). The door is not shut yet, you only need to respond in faith. Grow in confidence that all evil will fall: the LORD shall fight for you (Exodus 14:14). Proclaim the good news of the feast and invite others, like the servant sent out into the streets (Luke 14:21). The Marriage Supper of the Lamb

Revelation 19:1-10 — "The Marriage Supper of the Lamb" | Revelation 19:1-10 (ESV) Thy Will Be Done - Week 33 - Part Seven: The Marriage and the Rider Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches "The Marriage Supper of the Lamb" from Revelation 19:1-10 (ESV), Week 33 of Thy Will Be Done and Part Seven: The Marriage and the Rider. For three chapters Babylon has been falling. Now John hears a great multitude in heaven, worshiping God not only for Babylon's fall but for who God is. This morning we will see: • God is worthy of our praise and worship. He has the final say. All through Scripture people ask how long (Psalm 94:3; Habakkuk 1:2), and heaven answers in the words of the Song of Moses: he has avenged the blood of his servants (Deuteronomy 32:43). God responds in his ways, which are higher than our own. • After evil falls, prepare for the wedding. The parables were waiting for this: the ten virgins and the bridegroom (Matthew 25:1-13), and the king's wedding feast for his son (Matthew 22:1-14). Isaiah 61:10 and Hosea 2:19-20 already pictured God's people as a bride. • Worship God, not angels. John falls down before an angel and is told to worship God, just as Jesus answered in Matthew 4:10, and as Peter told Cornelius to stand up, because he too was only a man (Acts 10:25-26). Be blessed by responding to Christ. Worship God in your words and actions. Tell others of the coming wedding supper. Somebody in your life has never been told there is a table with room at it. When the Lamp Goes Out in the City

Revelation 18:9-24 — "When the Lamp Goes Out in the City" | Revelation 18:9-24 (ESV) Thy Will Be Done - Week 32 - Part Six: The Fall of Babylon Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches "When the Lamp Goes Out in the City" from Revelation 18:9-24 (ESV), Week 32 of Thy Will Be Done and Part Six: The Fall of Babylon. Three groups watch Babylon burn from a safe distance, and every one of them says the same thing: in a single hour. Not one of them examines his own heart. This morning we will see: • Babylon's downfall is the ending of an era. The era that ends is the one where the wicked prosper, and God's people have been asking how long. • When sin is removed, evil has no identity and no future. The millstone is Jeremiah 51:63-64, and the silence of verses 22-23 is Jeremiah 25:10 almost word for word. • The righteous celebrate God intervening in His time. This is not celebrating ruin; it is awe that even in judgment there was still time to turn. Come to Christ while the lamp is still lit. Rejoice in the God who is merciful and just. Tell others of a better way in Jesus Christ. Come Out of Her

Revelation 18:1-8 — "Come Out of Her" | Revelation 18:1-8 (ESV) Thy Will Be Done - Week 31 - Part Six: The Fall of Babylon Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches "Come Out of Her" from Revelation 18:1-8 (ESV), Week 31 of Thy Will Be Done and Part Six: The Fall of Babylon. An angel comes down and the earth is made bright with his glory, and he announces Babylon's fall in the past tense while the city is still standing and still rich. Then a second voice speaks from heaven, and it is not addressed to Babylon. This morning we will see: • Evil empires, systems, and people will fall. "Fallen, fallen is Babylon" is quoted word for word from Isaiah 21:9. The verdict was passed long before John saw it, and the text names who profited: the kings who hold power and the merchants who hold wealth. • God calls His own to flee from evil. "Come out of her, my people" is Jeremiah 51:45, and it is Exodus on a larger scale. Coming out is the heart before it is ever the address. • Pride comes before the downfall. Not the luxury itself, but pride mixed with wealth and power that no longer needs God. Her boast in Isaiah 47:8 is answered in Isaiah 47:9, in one day. Come out of Babylon and come to Christ. Share it: God wins, evil falls. Steward what God has given to glorify God. Come to Christ as you are. You cannot stay as you are. The Counterfeit Bride

Revelation 17:1-18 — "The Counterfeit Bride" | Revelation 17:1-18 (ESV) Thy Will Be Done - Week 30 - Part Six: The Fall of Babylon Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches "The Counterfeit Bride" from Revelation 17:1-18 (ESV), Week 30 of Thy Will Be Done and Part Six: The Fall of Babylon. An angel says to John, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute." In Revelation 21:9 the same angel gives the same invitation and shows John the Bride, the wife of the Lamb. Two women are set before us, and both are cities. This morning we will see: • Sin is a Sweet but Deadly Poison. Babylon is beautiful. Purple and scarlet, gold and pearls, and a golden cup in her hand. Sin appears beautiful but has dire consequences. • Babylon is Consumed in Darkness. Her own lovers turn on her and burn her, and God put it into their hearts. This is the pattern of Ezekiel. Three times Romans says God gave them up. The judgment is the handing over. • The Counterfeit Bride is AntiChurch. The same angel gives the same invitation, one to the prostitute and one to the Bride. She is full of abominations and impurities; the Bride is bright and pure. Repent from sin. Resist Babylon and the Counterfeit Bride. Warn others of Babylon's fall with the Gospel. Evil takes. Love gives. God has provided a way in Christ through faith. Think of someone this week who needs the gospel from you. It Is Finished, It Is Done.

Revelation 16:1-21 — "It Is Finished, It Is Done." | Revelation 16:1-21 (ESV) Thy Will Be Done - Week 29 - The Seven Bowls Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches "It Is Finished, It Is Done." from Revelation 16:1-21 (ESV), Week 29 of Thy Will Be Done and Part Five: The Seven Bowls. Seven bowls are poured out in Revelation 16. On the sixth, there is still time. God gives us time, but not forever. Right in the middle of the judgment, Jesus says one thing to us: "I am coming like a thief." This message follows three threads: • Judgement of the wicked; Deliverance of the redeemed • Only God knows the hour of the return • "It is finished, It is done." Before the words "it is done" are spoken, there is still time. What matters is who you belong to. Come to Christ before it is too late. ------ Sermon Slides PDF: https://ontariocommunitychurch.org/sermons/it-is-finished-it-is-done-revelation-16121-esv/slides.pdf Congregational Notes PDF: https://ontariocommunitychurch.org/sermons/it-is-finished-it-is-done-revelation-16121-esv/congregational-notes.pdf Check out our website for more information about our church at: https://ontariocommunitychurch.org/ To donate to our ministry, please go to the link here: https://ontariocommunitychurch.churchcenter.com/giving To check out our sermon archive, please go to this link: https://ontariocommunitychurch.org/sermons/ To check out all of our social media, please go to our link: https://lnk.bio/ontariocommunitychurch Download our Ontario Community Church mobile apps: For Android devices (Google Play Store): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.occchurch.app&pcampaignid=web_share For Apple devices (App Store): https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ontario-community-church/id6475359102 (Series: Thy Will Be Done: The Seven Bowls - Revelation) ——— Download today's resources: • Sermon Slides PDF: https://ontariocommunitychurch.org/sermons/it-is-finished-it-is-done-revelation-16121-esv/slides.pdf • Congregational Notes PDF: https://ontariocommunitychurch.org/sermons/it-is-finished-it-is-done-revelation-16121-esv/congregational-notes.pdf • Transcript (PDF): https://ontariocommunitychurch.org/sermons/it-is-finished-it-is-done-revelation-16121-esv/transcript.pdf • Transcript (text): https://ontariocommunitychurch.org/sermons/it-is-finished-it-is-done-revelation-16121-esv/transcript.txt Visit our website: https://ontariocommunitychurch.org/ Give: https://ontariocommunitychurch.churchcenter.com/giving Sermon archive: https://ontariocommunitychurch.org/sermons/ Listen on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/ontario-community-church-sermons/id1691572326 Download the Ontario Community Church mobile app: Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.occchurch.app Apple: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ontario-community-church/id6475359102
