Six Before Breakfast is the Podcast of International Creative Development (ICD) - a community of those who make their living by being creative, or those that manage, coach or support those that do. Svetlana Vassileva has taken her own creative road, one that is very much the less travelled. From touring the world with superstar Moby and playing at the Sydney Opera House, to now running music programmes and helping the next generation of young creative talents on the east coast of New Zealand. And in between all of that, playing at Glastonbury, completing a Masters Degree in Music Performance and balancing the business of being a rock bass player - with the business of being a mother. In a creative industry which is notoriously tough for women.  In this episode Svet tells us about the importance of getting on with people, and the importance of looking after your physical and mental health too, to keep yourself on track, in a career that can be ultra demanding. You can learn more about Svet by seeing her LINKEDIN and her work at IDEA School the creative industries campus in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. ------------------------------ Six Before Breakfast is the Podcast of International Creative Development (ICD) - a community of those who make their living by being creative, or those that manage, coach or support those that do.
