    Mario Pires Cordeiro, Artist | Creators in Motion

    Mário Pires Cordeiro is an American-Portuguese artist residing in San Francisco, CA. He received his MFA at Chelsea College of Art and Design at the University of the Arts, London and completed three years of a PhD researching color trends in fine arts. He has been commissioned by the Olympic and Paralympic Games Committee and the Cape Farewell Foundation and exhibited in more than 40 solo and group exhibitions. Pires Cordeiro’s art develops the relationship between fine art and design, commenting on the interaction between visual art and functional objects through experimentation in media and color. Color is his main focus, unpacking the symbolic and cultural meanings imposed on it in contemporary society by sourcing colors from trends and design forecasts as well as from particular environments or publications. He works with a variety of media from painting and sculpting to film and 3D printing.     Jean Bolte, VFX at Industrial Light and Magic | Creators in Motion

    Jean Bolte’s journey at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) began back in 1987, where she made her mark as a model maker on the transformation sequence in the movie Willow. This marked the beginning of her groundbreaking work with ILM's "morph" technology.   Throughout her career, Jean has made significant contributions to some of the most iconic movies of our time. From her role as Model Project Supervisor at ILM's model and creature shop to her work as Texture Supervisor on films like the Star Wars prequels, Men In Black, Iron Man, and Pacific Rim, her expertise has left an indelible mark.     Christine is an award-winning producer and director whose work has been screened in theaters and broadcast on channels around the world. She has produced pilots and programming for networks including Discovery, VH1, Disney, A&E, Sundance, Travel Channel, PBS, and HBO. She has also spent time interviewing celebrities such as Johnny Depp, Tom Hanks, Julie Andrews, and Anne Hathaway. For her unscripted work, she was named one of Showbiz's Top 100 Directors. Before working in unscripted, she spent years working in feature films as a Senior VP of Creative Affairs at Pacific Rim Productions and Schroeder & Hoffman Productions at Sony Pictures, and as a 2nd Unit Director at Five Star Productions in Bangkok, Thailand. She has also spent time filming in Fiji, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Malawi, and Thailand. She is currently a Professor in Documentary and Narrative Film at Chapman University.
