    Boba Fett Was Better Before We Knew Him

    Boba Fett became one of the most iconic Star Wars characters despite barely speaking in the original trilogy. The problem with The Book of Boba Fett wasn’t that it finally showed us the man under the helmet — it’s that the man we got barely felt like the same character. In this video, I look at what made Boba Fett work with so little screen time, how The Mandalorian, The Clone Wars and Jedi: Survivor proved that expanding his character could work, where The Book of Boba Fett went wrong, and how Cad Bane and the Tuskens could have been used to give Boba a real evolution without erasing the ruthless bounty hunter he used to be.     The Harry Potter TV Show Looks Bad.

    The first real look at the new Harry Potter TV series is here, and I’m not sold.Some of it looks almost identical to the movies, while the rest feels strangely generic, flat, and sanitized.     I’ve never really understood the appeal of Superman. He always seemed too powerful, too perfect, and honestly kind of boring.Then I finally watched James Gunn’s Superman.And while I definitely didn’t love everything about the movie, it completely changed the way I look at the character.     I Love Subnautica 2. I Don’t Want to Play It Anymore.

    I love Subnautica 2. That's exactly why I think I need to stop playing it.The game already nails so much of what made the original Subnautica special: exploration, isolation, terrifying leviathans, and that constant feeling that something incredible or horrifying could be just beyond the next trench. I played through the Early Access content solo, again in co-op, and somehow ended up building five different bases just because I kept looking for excuses to stay in the world.But that’s also the problem.For a game built around discovery, Early Access changes the way you experience everything. Instead of wondering what’s out there, you start wondering what hasn’t been finished yet.     Jean Grey Isn't the Problem With Spider-Man

    Jean Grey has been one of the biggest points of controversy surrounding Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with a lot of people arguing that Marvel forced her into Peter Parker's story just to set up the X-Men. And while I think the MCU has absolutely made that mistake with Spider-Man before, I don't think Jean is the problem this time.In this video, I break down why Jean's powers, trauma, and role as a villain actually complement Peter's character arc, why I'm glad the movie lets her do genuinely terrible things, and why her relationship with Spider-Man could make a future redemption much more interesting. I also compare Brand New Day's emotional climax to Spider-Man 2 and look at the major difference between how the MCU uses Jean Grey and how it previously used Iron Man in Peter's story.Jean Grey doesn't make Peter less Spider-Man.     My Favorite Show got Renewed for Another 10 Years. I'm Pissed.

    The Walking Dead is my favorite show of all time.So hearing that the franchise could potentially continue until 2040 honestly makes me more frustrated than excited.I love The Walking Dead. I love Rick Grimes. I’ve defended the later seasons, I genuinely enjoy parts of Season 7, and I still think there was plenty of great storytelling left after Rick disappeared. But at some point, the franchise stopped feeling like one story and started feeling like an endless collection of spin-offs.Morgan went to Fear the Walking Dead. Dwight went to a spin-off. Maggie and Negan got Dead City. Daryl ended up in France. Rick and Michonne got The Ones Who Live. And now we're potentially looking at another decade-plus of Walking Dead projects.The problem isn't that every spin-off is necessarily bad. Some of them apparently have plenty of fans. The problem is that The Walking Dead was at its best when it was one cohesive story about a small group of survivors trying to make it through the apocalypse.At this point, I don't want another 15 years of side stories. I want closure.I want Rick to reunite with Daryl. I want to see the original characters together again. I want the franchise to actually build toward an ending instead of constantly finding another reason to keep going.Because even though I love The Walking Dead, I don't think a franchise should continue forever simply because it can.And honestly, that's what makes this so frustrating: I want The Walking Dead to end because I love The Walking Dead.What do you think?
