    Anonymous 331

Does being anonymous online give people more freedom, or does it make it easier to escape responsibility? In this thought-provoking episode of Anonymous 331, three anonymous speakers explore how hiding one's identity can influence online behaviour, freedom of expression, and the way people interact in digital spaces. By choosing to remain anonymous themselves, the creators invite listeners to take part in a social experiment: does knowing less about the person behind an opinion change the way that opinion is perceived? The conversation explores the different forms of anonymity, its importance for vulnerable and marginalised communities, and its potential to create safer spaces for sharing personal experiences. At the same time, the speakers address the darker side of anonymity, including online hate speech, harassment, and the misuse of digital platforms. Through real-life examples, personal reflections, and recorded perspectives from other young people and youth workers, the episode raises questions about accountability, power dynamics, and the role of moderation. Who should decide what is acceptable online? Can communities regulate themselves, and what happens when algorithms take over? Digital Youth Spaces

Where do young people connect today, and how can youth workers create safe and meaningful spaces for them online? Moderator Jelena is joined by Miloš, Nejc, and Konstantin to explore the growing importance of digital youth work and online communities. The conversation takes listeners into the world of digital youth spaces, from the European platform digitalyouth.org to the Digital Youth Center, a Discord community developed by Young Dragons (Mladi zmaji) in Ljubljana during the COVID-19 pandemic. The speakers share their experiences of creating online environments where young people can connect, play games, express themselves, develop new skills, and participate in activities regardless of their physical location. Through practical examples and different perspectives, the episode addresses online safety, privacy, community moderation, and the importance of involving young people in shaping their own digital spaces. It also raises an important question: how can digital tools make youth work more accessible without replacing meaningful face-to-face connections?
