    Last episode we covered some of the foundations of how we approach worship. We continued our conversation with Jamie and honed in on a more niche type of worship. If you've paid attention to the Christian musical worship movement over the last few years, you've probably noticed the emphasis on spontaneous moments. Often worship leaders will encourage congregations to "sing your own song to the Lord!" While Jamie is clear that not all spontaneous worship is prophetic worship, he brought in an incredible biblical/historical lens that can help us understand the heart behind it. While this may feel odd or even uncomfortable, there are reasons behind it that are built on biblical directives. Jamie Fitt is from Philadelphia, PA. He leads a ministry called Philadelphia Tabernacle of David and travels the country leading worship and teaching on it.
