Exploring Identity & Spirit Self - Part 1 - SOUL

Ask us a Question or Leave a Comment! You can be grateful for your life and still feel trapped inside the version of yourself you learned to be. That tension is where we start: identity as a role, a costume, a coat you might not even realize you are wearing until something inside you says, “This is heavy.” We explain why we’ve started splitting our weekly conversations into two lanes, one focused on practical mind work like identity change, habits, and how the brain and body shape daily experience, and another focused on soul work like spiritual hypnosis, past life regression, and life between lives. The surprising part is how often these lanes merge in real sessions. People come in wanting help with anxiety or sleep and then touch something bigger, a higher mind, a deeper subconscious, a sense of guides, or an experience that feels like another lifetime. Whether you label that spirituality, symbolism, or the mind opening itself, it can shake loose the belief that you are only your job, your history, or your thoughts. We also get personal about how identity forms through childhood programming, family approval, and the need to belong. We talk about how even “good” identities can become limiting, and why the point is not to obsess over how you got here but to recognize choice. When the grip on identity softens, life can feel more like an adventure again. We close with a powerful reminder about authentic self and the idea of shedding layers to find what is actually yours underneath all the expectations. If you’ve been asking “Who am I without my roles?” you’ll feel at home here. Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s stuck in a label, and leave a review with the identity you’re ready to question next. Exploring Identity & Hypnosis - Part 1 - MIND

Ask us a Question or Leave a Comment! A quiet lake, an overcast sky, a loon stretching its wings and then we go straight into the thing most of us avoid until life forces it: identity. We start with the deceptively simple question “Who am I?” and pull on the thread until it reveals how often we live from a self-story we didn’t fully choose. The surprising part is how invisible that story can be, because it feels like home.  We talk about judgment as a learned habit that often pretends to be safety. The mind keeps old evaluations “fortified,” reviving them whenever a similar person or situation shows up, and then quietly turning that same harshness back onto ourselves. From there we explore identity as a lens that shapes perception and memory, and why neuroscience suggests behavior change usually sticks only when identity shifts at the subconscious level.  Along the way we use everyday examples, from tying your shoes to handwriting pride to the way “bad ankles” can become a permanent label even after the body improves. We also dig into how identity gets poked in relationships, why teasing works, and how uniqueness can feel both exciting and dangerous when we fear criticism or being pushed out of the group. We close by planting a key tool: metacognition, or mindful observation, and hint at the next doorway this opens the emotion-thought loop and the classic line “Why does this always happen to me?”  Subscribe so you don’t miss what comes next, share this with a friend who loves personal growth and self-awareness, and leave a review if it helps. What identity label do you think is quietly running your day? Support the show We  hope this helps a little as you go through your day. We would love to hear your feedback or questions. You Are Not Your Mind, You Are The Observer - SOUL

Ask us a Question or Leave a Comment! Fog outside, clarity inside. That’s where we start, and it’s also the problem we hear from so many people: your mind can feel loud, habitual, and strangely unfriendly. We talk candidly about why we’re reshaping the podcast around two distinct but connected tracks, one focused on mind work and mental hygiene, and the other focused on soul exploration and the deeper question of who you are beyond thoughts, emotions, and the body. We unpack a core shift we teach clients as hypnotists: learning to observe your mind instead of diving into every thought. That single move can change everything from anger and compulsive habits to the quiet sense of living on autopilot. Once you find even a little space between “the thinker” and “the thought,” you start to feel choice again, and choice is where identity shift begins. Then the fork in the road appears: if you can watch your mind, who is the one watching? That question opens the door to guided trance and theta state journeys, including past life regression and life between lives style exploration. We share what we see in group journeys, why no one’s path is “wrong,” and how a surprising detour can be exactly what your higher self wants you to experience. We also get real about online community, what makes it work, and why connection can be strong even across thousands of miles. If you’ve been craving practical tools and deeper meaning at the same time, this conversation will land. Why We Cling To Emotions - MIND

Ask us a Question or Leave a Comment! Your mind can feel like a nonstop commentator, replaying the same worries, criticisms, and worst-case stories on loop. We’re sitting by the lake with coffee, talking about a skill that changes everything: observing the mind. When you can watch a thought arrive without instantly believing it, you discover something steady underneath the noise, the awareness that notices. That’s where real freedom starts, and it’s also where the conversation naturally touches spirituality without drifting into vague talk.  We dig into practical tools for stepping back, including the core reframe “I am not my thoughts, I am the thinker, I can choose what I think.” We also share how self-hypnosis and “preloaded thoughts” can help you interrupt negative self-talk in the moment, not by pretending you’re fine, but by giving your nervous system a trained pathway back to calm. Along the way we use a Zen koan and a deceptively simple question from a stage hypnotist: which weighs more, fifty pounds of feathers or fifty pounds of thoughts?  Then we go deeper into the part most people don’t expect: why we sometimes cling to anger, sadness, or self-pity even when it feels awful. We connect that stickiness to early childhood learning, when big feelings were the fastest way to get comfort, attention, and reassurance that we’re lovable. As adults, that old program can keep us reactive and dependent. Observation plus compassion helps us ask a new question: what do I need right now?  We wrap with a concrete approach to anxiety and emotional regulation: make fear specific. “What exactly am I afraid will happen?” turns generalized dread into something you can evaluate, plan for, and move through. If you want mindfulness that’s usable, grounded, and immediately empowering, hit play, then subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find the show. Are You Resisting What Is? The Definition Of Suffering

Ask us a Question or Leave a Comment! We talk about how suffering often comes from resisting reality, not from the hard facts themselves. We break down how judgment and rumination become habits, then share simple ways to observe what’s happening in your mind and choose a better next step.  • recognizing what is beyond your control and stopping the mental fight  • treating suffering as a mental habit rather than a life sentence  • noticing how family, friends, and culture teach us default reactions  • separating preference from judgment using the ice cream example  • seeing how hate and blame isolate us and weigh on the body  • using “name it to tame it” to shift from “I am” to “there is”  • trying quick regulation tools like peripheral vision and long exhales  • replacing endless rumination with a small, clear “what do I want now?”  I know a really cool school they could join. How To Stop Suffering Over What You Can’t Control

Ask us a Question or Leave a Comment! We get honest about the strange suffering of waiting for something you can’t force, using our six-month home sale limbo as the real-life backdrop. We explore how resistance turns into blame and rumination, then practice a cleaner pivot: shifting attention toward hope by asking “What do I want?” • the stress of selling a home and living in limbo • how “should” thinking creates unnecessary suffering • why blame fuels anger and never fixes conditions • Stoicism as choosing your response over control • Taoism and the “be like water” model of adaptation • Buddhism on attachment, resistance, and the source of suffering • using awareness and attention as a practical lever • manifestation as a hopeful mental experiment, not a guarantee • the question “What do I want?” as a doorway to possibility • letting go as stepping back from the wall • finding support through friends, yoga, and online community Support the show We  hope this helps a little as you go through your day. How Can We Turn Gratitude Into A Daily Habit?

Ask us a Question or Leave a Comment! We talk about gratitude as a mental habit we can train, not a mood we wait for. We share simple ways to observe our thoughts, shift out of worry, and land in a calmer state fast.  • noticing beauty we usually take for granted, from colors outside to small comforts at home  • using a gratitude jar and daily prompts as gentle reminders  • stepping back to observe thoughts, then choosing what we focus on  • building bedtime gratitude into a repeatable habit and pairing it with dream guidance and a notebook  • defining gratitude as “this is the way it is, and it could have been different”  • checking stress with one question: does this require my attention now  • turning worry into planning by asking what we want and what could improve the moment  • protecting our minds from negative inputs like scrolling, news, and other people’s thought patterns  • closing with a tiny gratitude meditation that lifts how we feel Support the show We  hope this helps a little as you go through your day.
