This episode hit home. My husband and I are new to the lifestyle and we went to our first meet and greet at a bar this past August. He was a nervous wreck that whole day. He had some expired Xanax from a past surgery he had and I gave him one. He was literally shaking while we were at dinner and that was before we even got there. 🤣 He was like “how are you so calm?” I told him I’m going to a bar to meet friends. I want friendships first and foremost then if there’s a 4 way connection , we can explore that. I put it in my head that I’m not going to just “put a notch in my bedpost” and I’m not doing anything I’m not comfortable with. He is much better now with parties and meet and greets now that he knows what it’s like. Hopefully this helps other newbies.
