    Maidens of the Cave by Lloyd Devereux Richards

    Much like in a 80s horror novel, she rises from the dead (see also: depths of self imposed podcast exile) and returns to talk about a book she read in 2023!!!!!! Which book you ask? Why, TikTok viral sensation: Maidens of the Cave!  Fair warning- this episode is bit more rambley than usual.  Also a promise to you, dear listener, that I will use a pop screen moving forward (though not in the next two episodes as those have already been recorded sans pop screen). Oops. I talk about everything I loved, as usual, provide a small trigger warning for those interested in reading the book, and criticize a common troll-like criticism of Lloyds writing!     Dickens and Prince: A Particular Kind of Genius by Nick Hornby

    I ate cheese before, during, and after recording this episode and somehow managed to convince myself it would not be heard. Spoiler alert..... that convincing was done in bad taste.  If you love asmr and books- this is the episode for you and a gold star will be given to anyone who can finish listening (I myself had to edit this in two rounds).  In all seriousness, I apologize for the absolutely wild sound, but then again, I took the brunt of the pain and edited most cheesey mouth sounds out!
