I’ve been looking for any relaxing, straightforward content about the game’s lore that includes information outside of in-game quests (that I would have already experienced by playing) and as a result, help connect the listener to the deeply detailed world of Teyvat. I wanted something akin to a journalist’s writing on a true crime podcast, but for Genshin Impact lore and I feel like this podcast delivers. It’s also really important to me the tone and discussion in the podcast is relaxing, interesting, still sometimes funny, but not inappropriate because I don’t want to listen, for example, at work to more casual lore podcasts that reference dreams about characters being their boyfriend or sexual content and constant innuendo or jokes interrupting the lore content. I also appreciate a clearly identified theory crafting section because as someone who doesn’t want theory and just the factual details shared, I can skip it. I would listen to this kind of content every day as a player since release date so long as there were new episodes to do so.

I listened to this podcast with an open mind, but the pacing is slow, the host sounds cringey-fake, and there is no humor. It really feels like it's just taking itself too seriously without offering anything unique. Pass!
