    🌑 New Moon in Libra 2026: Your Clean Slate to Finish

    The New Moon in Libra is happening on October 10 at 11:50 AM Eastern at 17° Libra, and it's a moon that can help you get a lot done. In this episode, I talk about why this New Moon is about getting a clean slate, especially for something you started but haven't finished. Libra is a cardinal sign, so we're in a new sign, a new season, and a new moon all at once. With Venus, the ruler of this moon, retrograde in Scorpio, you can use this energy to reset your mindset and let your inner Libra coach you forward.     🕯️ Lessons From Iku, Ifa's Spirit of Death and the Ancestors

    Iku is the spirit of death in the Ifa tradition. As we move through Scorpio season toward Samhain and the Day of the Dead, I'm sharing what Iku and the ancestors teach us about death, grief, and living on purpose. Please note: this episode touches on death, loss, and grief, including the passing of my mother. Please listen with care, in a way that feels good to you. After two recent deaths in my community, I reflect on my mother's passing, why Ifa teaches that the days we are born and die are set, and why death is a rite of passage just like birth. I also talk about the two paths Iku places us on, the path of grief and the path of the lesson, and how to use this season to ask yourself if you are living in alignment with your destiny. You will hear about becoming an ancestor who can help your family, pouring libations, sending light to ancestors who are stuck, and why it matters to get comfortable with the spirit of death.
