    Love is Blind: Season 8

First up, we dive headfirst into LIV Golf 2025 and our official realisation that we’re done with lining up for things.  In the world of Australian TikTok drama, we dissect the Jordan Tan vs. Jack McIntosh drama, unpacking the cringeworthy encounter and the important conversations it sparked about consent, boundaries, and male ego. We also call out Kayla Itsines for her hypocritical rant about "hyper-sexualised" fitness content, given her own history of profiting off women's body insecurities.  We’re drowning in reality TV lately. This week, we share our lukewarm takes on the latest season of Love is Blind. With the biggest cast ever, this Minneapolis season is surprisingly boring and forgettable. We're also back in the Hamptons with Summer House, discussing Paige and Craig's breakup, the cheating rumors, and Lexi and Jesse's hilarious dynamic. And of course, we can't forget MAFS. We break down all the couples, from Carina & Paul to Jacqui and Ryan and their "crazy eyes" drama. Plus, we discuss the brewing cheating scandal with Sierah and Adrian, and Morena's explosive appearance on Abbie Chatfield's podcast, where she spilled some serious tea (and maybe broke contract?). Finally, we wrap things up with Danika’s latest read: The Wrong Daughter by Dandy Smith. This popcorn thriller about a kidnapping, family secrets, and unexpected twists is perfect for fans of Freida McFadden, Jeneva Rose, or Sally Hepworth.   Follow us on socials: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedeluludiariespod TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedeluludiariespod Danika's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/danikarbrown Caitlin's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/caitlinsltr

    Apple Cider Vinegar

It was the Grammys for the girls last week, with huge performances and wins by Docheii, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter, plus Beyonce FINALLY went home with her first ever Album of the Year award. Netflix’s latest series, Apple Cider Vinegar, was released over the weekend too and Caitlin shares her initial thoughts on the dramatised look at the life of wellness guru Belle Gibson, who had a large social media following, where she pretended to be suffering from cancer but keeping the disease under control using self-care therapies. She confessed that none of it was true. We recap a week of MAFS, with the couples entering challenge week. As always, the men proved to be weasels while the women were starting to realise they are too good for their ‘husbands’.  We wrap this week’s episode with Caitlin’s review of The Reunion by Bronwyn Rivers: Ten years ago, six teenagers hiked into the Blue Mountains wilderness - and only five came out alive. The survivors have barely seen each other since the tragic bushwalk. Yet when an invitation arrives to attend a 10-year memorial of their friend's death, Hugh, Charlotte, Alex, Laura and Jack find themselves travelling back into the rugged landscape where it all began. The weekend at an isolated homestead in the bush - no phone signal, no distractions - should be a chance to reflect and reconnect. But each of the friends has been carrying secrets from the fateful hike. And someone will stop at nothing to get the truth.    Follow us on socials: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedeluludiariespod TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedeluludiariespod Danika's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/danikarbrown Caitlin's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/caitlinsltr   Watch the episode in full on YouTube: https://youtu.be/UqhxjHXUKnY

    Nosferatu

This week, Caitlin talks about her experience braving Sounds by the River with the oldies in 37-degree heat while Danika decompresses from her first week back at work.  We discuss the tragic and terrifying fires in LA, from the TikToks we have seen to the celebrities impacted by the devastation and Spencer Pratt's unexpected success after losing his home. In a complete 180, we talk about Lily Allen's split from her husband, David Harbour, after finding him cheating on her. Earlier in the week, we made a visit to our favourite place on Earth, the cinema, and saw Nosferatu starring Lily-Rose Depp, Bill Skarsgård, Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Nicholas Hoult. We deep dive into the history of the film and our thoughts on this gothic tale of a horny vampire. Caitlin reviews the 2023 film, Bottoms, starring Rachel Sennott and Ayo Edebiri before we dive into our latest reality TV viewing: Selling the City (Netflix), Southern Charm (Bravo) and Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (Bravo).  To wrap up the week, Caitlin talks about her latest read: Talking at Night by Clarie Daverely, while Danika talks about her qualms with Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros.   Follow us on socials: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedeluludiariespod TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedeluludiariespod Danika's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/danikarbrown Caitlin's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/caitlinsltr   Watch the episode in full on YouTube: https://youtu.be/UqhxjHXUKnY

    Squid Game: Season 2

Happy New Year, girlie pops! We're diving deep into everything we've been watching and reading and what we're hyped for in 2025. First up, we're venturing into the world of body horror with The Substance (Amazon Prime), starring Demi Moore as a fading celebrity who takes drastic measures to reclaim her youth with some seriously freaky side effects. We also check back in with Seong Gi-hun in Squid Game Season 2 (Netflix). This season promises to be even more politically charged, with creator Hwang Dong-hyuk exploring the conflicts arising from the choices we make. Plus, we're spilling the tea on the K-pop connections! Then, we're blasting off into space with Alien: Romulus (Disney+), a thrilling addition to the Alien franchise. We rave about the acting, especially David Jonsson as the AI Andy, whose transformation is seriously mind-blowing. On the book front, we've got a mixed bag of reads. We start with the heartwarming yet grumpy charm of A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman, followed by the mind-bending premise of The Husbands by Holly Gramazio, where changing a lightbulb changes your entire life (and husband!). We also discuss Talking at Night by Claire Daverley, a poignant love story spanning years and marked by tragedy. Our January book club pick, The Ledge by Christian White, gets some love, as does Evenings and Weekends by Oisin McKenna, a literary fiction gem reminiscent of Love Actually, exploring the lives of interconnected friends during a London heatwave. We also dive into more of Fredrik Backman's work with The Answer Is No, a short and sweet read about a man who hates decisions, and She’s Always Hungry by Eliza Clark, a collection of short stories exploring human hunger and desire (which, sadly, didn't quite hit the mark for us). Finally, we celebrate the brilliance of Greta & Valdin by Rebecca K Reilly, a witty and chaotic story about siblings navigating adulthood and love.   Get your hands on Delulu merch: https://thedeluludiariespod.theprintbar.com/   Follow us on socials: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedeluludiariespod TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedeluludiariespod Danika's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/danikarbrown Caitlin's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/caitlinsltr   Watch the episode in full on YouTube: https://youtu.be/UqhxjHXUKnY
