Episode 111 Original Story Pitch: The Girl Who Stole The Name of A God

It's been another hot minute everyone and sorry for that. We hope that a new episode involving an original pitch will make up for it! A story straight from the mind of Tim. What power does a name hold? If you were to take a name can you have the power of that name? What would happen in a world where becoming nameless puts you in a fate worse than death? Join us in a fun world building episode to truly one on Tim's more bleak worlds.

Episode 110: An Avatar State of Stagnation

When you make a monolith of a story it's hard to satisfy your audience with new material. Avatar the Last Airbender in our opinions is what we would call a near perfect show. We cannot think of anything children's show that is as impactful. When you try to revisit this story after so long, especially after you have set events in future story lines, you can end up with a story that is just safe and stagnant. That is where Avatar Aang falls for us here at Hear me Out Pitch. A safe story that to us didn't add anything new to our beloved characters. We would love to hear your opinions of this movie and hope that even though it fell flat for us in some aspects. It was still quite the treat to see the world of Avatar brought back.

Episode 106 A Solo Episode: 30 Years of Hunchback of Notre Dame

It's been a minute and we hope this will get the ball rolling again. Even though it is late in the evening. I just had to discuss one of my favorite movies on it's 30th Anniversary in theatres. The Hunchback of Notre Dame is one of my favorite Disney movies and means so much to me. Please enjoy my rambling and we hope that the rest of this summer we can give you all more content and more videos. We miss you pitches. See you soon.

Episode 105 The Mage Leech: A HMOP Original Story Pitch

Well howdy pitches! It has been a minute and we have moved recording studios! Well, we now have an official recording office and not in the middle of Willem's apartment. We are sorry for the hiatus and we are excited to be back and for this week's episode. Tim brought up a bare bones idea of a mage who could leech power from others. This turned into a rough draft of a villain origin story that we hope to visit again in the future. We hope you enjoy the episode and if you have any bare bone ideas you would like us to tackle please put them in the comments!

Episode 104 Star Forged: A HMOP Original Story Pitch

March was a month. With moving and Willem not checking equipment connection y'all are finally getting our story pitch from 3 weeks ago. Sadly the discussion episode from the week after is not the quality we would want to share with you. We will make that up soon. In Willem's new apartment!!!!! For this episode we have three words for you: DRAGONS. IN. SPACE. Tim brought a original story idea from almost a decade ago of Dragons in space. For all of you fantasy lovers this is a fun discussion for you. We hope you enjoy the episode and it feels good to be back!
