Across The World, Across The Street |Acts 10-11

Sometimes God takes us across the world to change how we see the people across the street. In Acts 10, God sends Peter to Cornelius’s home—a place Peter would never have entered before. Peter learns that the Gospel is for people he once considered outsiders. When Cornelius and his household believe, the Holy Spirit comes upon them, and Peter sees that God is welcoming Gentiles into His people. Acts 11 shows that Peter’s fellow believers struggled with this, too. They questioned why he had gone into a Gentile home. But after Peter explained what God had done, they recognized that God had granted repentance and life to the Gentiles as well. The people and churches we met in Kenya brought this passage close to home. Dave and Wes are taking the Gospel into places many would avoid, and Light and Love Church keeps serving its neighbors even when others try to drown out its worship. Their example challenges us to look again at the people we may overlook or keep at a distance. The Gospel sends us beyond the boundaries we are comfortable with. The Most Terrifying Words in the Bible - Part 1

#BibleTeaching #VictoryFallon #TheMostTerrifyingWords THE MOST TERRIFYING WORDS IN THE BIBLE | Matthew 7:21–23 “I never knew you.” Jesus speaks these words to people who called Him Lord, served in His name, and fully expected to enter Heaven. They said the right things and pointed to impressive works, yet they never truly knew Him. This passage confronts the danger of trusting our religious activity instead of Christ. We can know Christian language, attend church, volunteer, and spend years doing things for Jesus while never surrendering our lives to Him. Serving is good, but our service cannot save us. Knowing about Jesus is different from belonging to Jesus. Genuine faith changes the direction of our lives as we learn to follow Him. Believers still struggle with sin, but they bring that struggle under His authority rather than claiming His name while refusing His rule. Jesus gives this warning while there is still time to respond. He died for our sins and rose again, and He calls us to repent and believe the Gospel. Our hope rests in Him alone. Are you trusting in Christ—or in everything you have done for Him? 📖 Matthew 7:21–23 🌐 Do you know Jesus as your Savior? https://www.vbcfallon.org/the-gospel.html 🌐 Visit Victory Church: https://victoryfallon.org 💵 GIVE: https://victorychurch1185.breezechms.com/give/online ▶️ YouTube | @victoryfallon https://www.youtube.com/@victoryfallon ⓕ Facebook | @victoryfallon https://www.facebook.com/victoryfallon #Matthew7 #INeverKnewYou #RepentAndBelieve #FollowJesus #SermonOnTheMount #FallonNevada

The Fruit Inspector: Good Tree, Good Fruit

Jesus teaches that the fruit of our lives reveals the source of our lives. A tree does not produce good fruit by trying harder—it produces fruit because of what is happening beneath the surface. In this message from Matthew 7:17–20, we see that the Christian life is not simply about changing our behavior or learning how to look more spiritual. The root determines the fruit, and the fruit reveals the root. Spiritual fruit is not something we manufacture through determination or willpower. Love, joy, peace, patience, and the rest of the fruit of the Spirit are evidence that God is at work within us. People may not be able to see the root, but eventually they will experience the fruit. Jesus also gives a serious warning: a tree that produces no good fruit reveals a deeper problem. Trials and pressures often expose what has been beneath the surface all along. But the Gospel gives us hope. Jesus does not tell us to staple better fruit onto dead branches. He offers us new life. The Gospel is not, “Produce enough fruit and God will accept you.” The Gospel is, “Come to Jesus and He will make you alive.” So the question is not simply, “How can I look more fruitful?” The deeper question is, “What am I rooted in?” 📖 Matthew 7:17–20 #Matthew7 #FruitInspector #GoodTreeGoodFruit #FruitOfTheSpirit #RootedInChrist #SermonOnTheMount #ChristianLiving #VictoryChurch #VictoryFallon #BiblePreaching Connect with Victory Church 🌐 Website: https://victoryfallon.org ✝️ Learn about the Gospel: https://www.vbcfallon.org/the-gospel.html 📘 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/victoryfallon ▶️ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@victoryfallon 🎧 Listen to the Victory Fallon Sermon Podcast Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0t4b6ZUjxZktMBj4RcVdUa Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/mx/podcast/victory-fallon-sermon-podcast/id1705624263?l=en-GB 💒 Give to Victory Church https://victorychurch1185.breezechms.com/give/online
