    Week two of “Why Is Life So Hard?” takes us into James 1:1–11, where believers walking through intense suffering are told to “count it all joy.” James isn’t minimizing their pain—he’s revealing God’s purpose. Trials are unavoidable, but God uses them to mature our faith and deepen our dependence on Him. The real test is whether we stay anchored in God when life makes no sense.     Why Is Life So Hard?

    Mike Havran kicks off a new seven-week series through the book of James titled “Why Is Life So Hard?” Suffering is an unavoidable part of living in a broken world, and following Jesus doesn't mean we will escape trials, pain, or hardship. But God doesn't waste our suffering. He can use it to transform us, make us more like Jesus, and accomplish His purposes through it.     What is the Church? The Beauty

    In this wrap up of the “What Is the Church?” series Jason discusses how the Church is meant to bring beauty into the world. Jesus paints a picture of His people as salt and light in Matthew 5:13–16—preserving what is good and shining hope into darkness. When we live this out, the beauty of Christ becomes visible through us. Matthew 5:13-16 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
