You are NeuroMagnificent with Chris Fraser

In this episode I sit down with the wonderful Chris Fraser, a therapist with 29 years of experience, a fellow ADHDer, and the person who coined a term Neuromagnificent. Chris and I talk about what it actually means to embrace your neurodivergent brain, not just manage it or accommodate it, but truly see it for the magnificent thing it is. We go deep into the inner critic, shame, self-compassion, and what it feels like to finally stop hiding the parts of yourself that the world has told you are too much or not enough. I hope there is something in here that helps you see yourself a little differently. A gentle note, this episode touches on themes of shame, self criticism and the emotional experience of growing up neurodivergent, so please take care of yourself as you listen. Episode #117 When Less Creates More - Season Finale

As women, we're often looking for the next thing to add. The next strategy, habit, or tool that's finally going to make everything click into place. It comes from a good place, we care deeply about what we do. Someone came to me not knowing what she needed to add to her life to thrive. What became clear as we talked? She didn't need to add a single thing. It's what she'd been removing that now allows her to thrive. You deserve to be looked after, with the same care and attention you pour into everything else. I know this because I've lived it. The past few weeks have been busy, and somewhere in the middle of it all, I had to make a choice. I chose rest. I chose myself.
