Colts FIRESALE! Will Lamar Play? Betting PICKS!

How quickly the tides turn in Indy. Sitting at 2-6, Carlie Irsay-Gordon has opened the floodgates. Out go Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, Josh Downs presumably soon to come, and what will they net for all-world workhorse Jonathan Taylor? And what does the timing of these unloads speak heading into their House Horrors in Jacksonville? The Colts aren’t the only team loading up on draft capital in the AFC South. Tennessee has shipped All-Pro Jeffrey Simmons off to Chicago for a HAUL. Will this catapult the Bears to NFC North favorites? They play the defending champs on Monday Night.  Speaking of the NFC North, the Vikings are still riding high. Now, they face the Detroit Lions coming off a game in which their defense actually showed up to play against the Packers. Will Jahmyr Gibbs & Co. get it going against Brian Flores’ defense or are we destined to watch the struggle bus of the flip side of this matchup? Not the only North division up for grabs as the AFC North has a battle for first on tap. And it’s between….. the Browns and Steelers. Yup, just like everyone drew it up. Is Deshaun Watson really back or will old man Rodgers still turn the clock back for another week? PLUS, the league is still on Lamar Jackson watch for his return to the lineup. Will he give it a go in their annual grudge match with Super Josh and the Bills? The Chiefs are licking their wounds after Sunday Night. Can Patrick Mahomes rebound or will Kenny Walker meet another brick wall in the Broncos defense? And will Bo Nix be consistent enough to fill in the gap?  PLUS, this week on XTRA PTS, we dive into our degenerate side and go over some of the biggest trap bets on this weekend’s slate.  Follow along on the best highlights of our on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sundayscariesnflpod?igsh=MXBmNzBrYnlnYXRxaA%3D%3D&utm_source=qr Music Credit: Monty Wames "Raging Bull" "New Outro, Who Dis"

Running Backs DOMINATE National Tight Ends Day!

As the Cowboys and Eagles kick off to keep pace with the New York Giants…. Wait, read that again? Yes, the Giants behind a resurgence of JJ McCarthy still maintain first place as the remainder of the NFC East seems to drift further away. And Cam Skattebo led a rushing attack that was hardly the only ground game that showed out in a big way in Week 7 after his Week 6 benching.  Buccs McGee is prone to making predictions and look at how accurate the Seahawks and Chiefs pick became in the wake of Kenny Walker’s homecoming. He said “80 yards and a touchdown” and Seattle could withstand KC and force Patrick Mahomes to pull back on some old magic. Well, they did that and then some, including keeping him out of the endzone while Kansas City took their first L of the season.  No Lamar Jackson seemed to not be a problem for Baltimore as they mounted a 13-0 lead against Cincinnati but Joe Burrow rallied the Bengals to a furious comeback and on the topic of comebacks, the 49ers showed some cracks in the armor as Brock Purdy got a little sloppy with the ball and allowed the Falcons to seal it in the end.  PLUS, this week on XTRA PTS, we go over the rest of the backfield’s shining stars including a fountain of youth type performance from Tony Pollard in a loss, the Buccaneers seemingly forgetting their fans’ cries for Todd Bowles’ head and grinding Carolina into the dirt, a dual headed attack from the Rams, and a special rant from nutmeg2palmetto as the Colts continue to spiral. Are You a CONTENDER or a PRETENDER in Week 5?

Buccs McGee always says at the quarter point of the season, you should know who your team is and if you should have realistic playoff ambitions.  In a week with a lot of junk matchups, there’s a few that may very divide those lines.  The Philadelphia Eagles are reeling. First they get smacked around by the Bears, then the Rams storm back on them in the 4th quarter. Now, they go over to the UK to play the Jags where Jacksonville may as well call it their second home and Trevor Lawrence & Liam Coen may not look elite, but they sure look steady.  The Packers are expected to contend every year and so far, this time around, they are .500 and buoyed by wins over teams like the Jets and Bucs. Chicago is still waiting for Caleb to return and this could get ugly if Green Bay can’t wake up.  Speaking of oddball 2-2 clubs, the Falcons have risen from the dead behind Michael Penix’s return from injury and an unstoppable primetime Bijan Robinson. He’s under the lights again this week and Atlanta gets a limping Ravens squad unsure if Lamar Jackson will be able to go.  No question about the biggest game of the week though. As Sam Darnold continues to get his feet back under him, the Seattle Seahawks need a statement performance to remind the league they are still the top dog and go against their rival and hottest offense in the NFL this year, the San Francisco 49ers.  Follow along on the best highlights of our on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sundayscariesnflpod?igsh=MXBmNzBrYnlnYXRxaA%3D%3D&utm_source=qr Music Credit: Monty Wames "Raging Bull" "New Outro, Who Dis"
