Victory Through the Battle: Choose Life (Deuteronomy 30:15-20)

Choose Life: Warfare at the Crossroads of Obedience Season 3, Episode 16 | Victory Through the Battle Primary Scripture: Deuteronomy 30:15–20 (ESV) What if some of the battles we’re fighting aren’t primarily about what the enemy is doing—but about the choices we are making? In Deuteronomy 30, God brings Israel to a crossroads. After clearly laying out the blessings of obedience and the consequences of rebellion, He places a choice before His people: life or death, blessing or curse. And then He gives them the answer: “Therefore choose life.” — Deuteronomy 30:19 In this episode of Listen Up! God Speaks, we continue our Victory Through the Battle series by examining a powerful spiritual warfare principle: obedience itself is warfare. Israel’s greatest battles were never external first. Again and again, the battle began with a decision—obedience or rebellion, alignment or compromise, surrender or self-will. The same can be true in our lives. Sometimes we’re asking God to change a circumstance while He is asking us to change a choice. Sometimes we’re rebuking the enemy when God is calling us to realign. And sometimes repeated battles are connected to repeated decisions. In this episode, we’ll explore: Why victory and defeat can become paths rather than isolated eventsHow small, repeated decisions can affect future battlesWhy obedience is a powerful form of spiritual warfareHow rebellion often begins with the heart before it appears in our behaviorThe danger of delayed obedience, justified compromise, and partial surrenderWhy victory is maintained between battles—not only during themWhat Jesus reveals about ultimately choosing the path of lifeGod’s invitation in Deuteronomy 30 is not one of condemnation—it is an invitation to choose again. If you find yourself standing at a crossroads today, ask: Where has God already spoken, but I have hesitated? What decision am I postponing? Where do I need to realign rather than rebuke? The decision in front of you may seem small, but it could be shaping the battles ahead. Victory is not accidental—it is chosen. Declaration Father God, today I choose life. I choose obedience over compromise. Alignment over convenience. Truth over comfort. I reject every path that leads to exposure, and I step fully into the path of life and blessing. I do not stumble into victory— I choose it. Continue Your Journey Want to go deeper? Victory Through the Battle: Blessings or Battles? (Deuteronomy 28)

Are you fighting a spiritual battle—or is God calling you back into alignment? Not every battle is demonic. Some battles are directional. In Season 3, Episode 15 of Victory Through the Battle, Charlotte Barton explores Deuteronomy 28 and the connection between obedience, covenant blessing, spiritual covering, and the consequences of misalignment. Deuteronomy 28 clearly reveals the blessings connected to obedience and the consequences that follow rebellion. This message is not about condemnation or earning God’s love. It is about understanding how alignment with God positions believers to walk under His covering, direction, and protection. Sometimes spiritual resistance is an attack from the enemy. At other times, hardship may serve as a loving invitation from God to examine our hearts, repent, and return to what He has already instructed. Discernment helps us recognize the difference. In this episode, you will learn: Why biblical blessing is more than provisionHow obedience provides spiritual positioning and protectionWhy not every difficult season means you are out of alignmentHow misalignment can create unnecessary exposure and warfareWhy repentance and realignment are powerful spiritual warfare strategiesHow grace restores relationship while obedience keeps us positionedHow to stop fighting the wrong battle and respond to God’s directionRealignment is not a setback—it is a strategy. When God reveals an area that needs correction, His purpose is not to shame you but to restore, reposition, and strengthen you. Listen and be encouraged to choose obedience over convenience, alignment over resistance, and God’s ways over your own. Victory Through the Battle: Strange Fire - When Worship Becomes Dangerous

Episode 13: Strange Fire — When Worship Becomes Dangerous Primary Text: Leviticus 10:1–11 (ESV) Not all worship pleases God. And not all fire comes from heaven. In this sobering and spiritually weighty episode of Victory Through the Battle, Charlotte Barton walks through the account of Nadab and Abihu in Leviticus 10 — two priests who offered what Scripture calls “unauthorized fire” before the Lord. They were anointed. They were appointed. They were serving in the tabernacle. But what they brought before God did not originate from Him. This episode explores why worship disconnected from obedience becomes spiritually dangerous — and how the enemy often corrupts what he cannot stop. You’ll discover: What “strange fire” really means in the Hebrew contextWhy right activity with the wrong source lacks authorityHow emotional expression can replace reverent obedienceWhy discernment is a spiritual warfare safeguardThe difference between holy fire and counterfeit spiritual activityHow to protect your worship from becoming performanceIn Leviticus 10:10, God commands His priests to distinguish between the holy and the common, the clean and the unclean. That instruction still matters today. Not everything spiritual is holy. Not every fire is from heaven. And not every passionate expression is pleasing to God. True worship: Invites God’s presenceDrives out darknessStrengthens spiritual authorityFlows from obedience and surrenderCharlotte also unpacks how Jesus Christ is now our authorized access to God — our perfect offering and our holy fire. Through Him, we approach God not casually, but reverently and confidently. If you’ve ever wondered: Is my worship rooted in obedience? Am I chasing manifestations instead of God’s presence? How do I keep my spiritual fire pure? This episode will challenge, refine, and strengthen your understanding of worship as a weapon in spiritual warfare. Victory Through the Battle: The Battle Within - Guarding Against Rebellion and Pride

When the battle isn’t around you but within you, victory requires humility, submission, and a surrendered heart. In this powerful episode, Charlotte dives into one of the most sobering stories in Scripture — Korah’s Rebellion in Numbers 16 — to uncover the spiritual warfare principles behind pride, rebellion, and God-ordained authority. Korah and his followers weren’t fighting a human leader; they were resisting the divine order God Himself had established. What started as a challenge to Moses quickly became a confrontation with Heaven’s authority — and the result was devastating. But hidden within this story is a life-changing truth: submission isn’t bondage; it’s protection. Through this episode, you’ll learn how to recognize subtle forms of rebellion that can creep into your thoughts, relationships, and ministries — and how to close every door the enemy uses to sow division and pride. You’ll see that pride isn’t just arrogance; it’s independence from God. Rebellion is spiritual resistance against His order, and both can create dangerous footholds in our lives if left unchecked. Charlotte breaks down how humility becomes a weapon of warfare, disarming the enemy’s schemes and releasing divine favor. When you submit your heart to God’s authority — and honor the spiritual structure He’s placed around you — you remain under the covering of His protection. The result? Peace, clarity, and victory even in the midst of testing. 💡 Spiritual Warfare Insights You’ll Learn: How pride and self-promotion give demonic footholds in your life. Why rebellion against God’s structure opens doors to spiritual attack. How submission restores divine protection and unity. The connection between humility and authority in warfare.Practical steps to guard your heart and stay aligned with God’s order. In this teaching, Charlotte walks you through the key verses in Numbers 16 and highlights the contrast between Korah’s pride and Moses’ humility. When faced with criticism and accusation, Moses didn’t defend himself — he fell on his face before God. That posture of surrender is the true mark of spiritual authority. As you listen, you’ll be invited to take inventory of your own heart: Are there areas where you’ve resisted correction? Times when pride made you justify disobedience? Or moments when comparison opened the door to envy? This isn’t about condemnation — it’s about restoration. God wants to close those openings and bring you back into the safety of His divine order. Charlotte ends this episode with a powerful declaration and prayer, helping you break agreement with pride, offense, or rebellion — and step into humility, honor, and freedom. You’ll be reminded that the true battle isn’t just external; it’s spiritual. And every victory begins with surrender.
