The Purple Path with Ayelle

The Purple Path is an exploration of what it means to live a life in pursuit of radical authenticity and carving out our own unique path. This is a space for softness and vulnerability, where we explore soul medicine in all its forms and delve deeper into creativity, healing and spirituality. This path isn’t always an easy one, and it is my hope that this will be a safe space for us to feel more supported, inspired and connected on our journeys. May we remember who we are and what we’re capable of when we tap into our authentic selves.

    12. Borderless Creativity: Lucid Dreaming & Inspired Action - Naji

Inspiration and creative downloads can come in the most unlikely forms and creativity goes where you go: it has no borders, physical or imagined. In this conversation we talk about lucid dreaming, astral projection, Naji's move from the US to South Korea, cultivating more artistically divergent spaces that stand apart from the norm and so much more. Naji, a 29 year-old music artist, began his musical journey as a drummer before a transformative moment in 2015 redirected his path. Inspired by a vivid dream featuring a potato, he embraced a new direction as a solo vocalist and producer. His debut single, "Baked Potatoes," unexpectedly received high praise, marking the onset of a more contemplative and mature phase in his songwriting and singing career. In 2016, Naji collaborated with producer Glasstempo on the emotionally evocative single, "Fallen." This release caught the attention of major platforms and labels such as Majestic Casual, Soulection, Lyrical Lemonade, and Pigeons and Planes. This recognition firmly positioned Naji as a prominent figure in the realm of Indie R&B. Boasting a portfolio of over 200 collaborative projects, including the renowned track "Mona Lisa" produced alongside Grammy-nominated artist monte booker, Naji's impact expanded further with the launch of his debut album, "Misfit." Notably, he introduced a live-drum sample pack titled "Mr. Drummer Boy," acclaimed and utilized by industry luminaries such as Giveon, Labrinth, JID, Kenny Beats, D-Mile, DEAN, and more.
