Found this while looking at the Apple promoted “spooky” podcasts in October. The October Records started off ok. Not scary, but seems like a decent story. But as each episode goes on, it gets more and more convoluted and makes less and less sense. The narrator is obviously AI and void of any human emotion. The story had to have been written by AI as well. There’s no way a human wrote each episode. It would make a lot more sense and be better written if it was. So instead of a good month long story of scares, it’s just a month long slog of AI slop that doesn’t make sense and contradicts itself all too often. Apple should be ashamed of promoting AI written and read podcasts. Save yourself some time and avoid. I’d give less than 1 star if I could.
