    Episode 53 Felix, a grandson of storytellers who introduced him to visceral, existential tales, is a self-taught writer and director. Born and raised in Southern California, his career began with an experimental theater company on Compton Avenue, where he developed his unorthodox approach to language, image, and sound. After earning his Bachelor of Arts at USC on a full athletic scholarship, Felix's debut short film, Panorama, became Oscar-Qualified for the 95th Academy Awards in the Best Live Action Short Film category. Outside of film, he has directed viral music videos and commercials for renowned artists and brands alongside his production collective, The Sunflower Pictures. In Spring 2025, he will begin production on his debut feature film, described as a Mexican folktale set in Los Angeles.
