    Delphi Borich (Broadway Revival of Into the Woods)

    In the newest since December, Cuse Infused is BACK with its ninth episode. Evan speaks with Delphi Borich, recently seen in the Broadway revivals of "Into the Woods" and "Camelot". She is now in performances of a new play called "The Age of Innocence", at the Old Globe in San Diego, CA. Delphi earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse, and after graduating, she was a part of the touring company of Rodger and Hammerstein's Cinderella, as well as many regional productions in the US. Evan speaks to Delphi about the reality of post-college, navigating life as a working actor, and the reward of trying harder to produce results.     Liam Bierley (Theater Management Student)

    In the eighth episode of 'Cuse Infused, Evan has the first student on the podcast, Liam Bierley. Liam is an actor, director, producer, and a theater management student who has recently wrapped up his final semester of classes at Syracuse. This month, he will be moving to New York City to begin his professional career. At SU, he became the Artistic Director of Black Box Players, which is Syracuse's student-run organization that produces plays, musicals, and events throughout the year. Liam has performed as an actor within BBP and most recently had his first project as a director, directing BBP's production of "The Baltimore Waltz." He also served as an intern this past summer at Theatre Aspen, a professional theatre in Colorado. Evan speaks to Liam about experiencing college during the pandemic, studying abroad in London, plans for a career in the city, and not taking no for an answer.     Matt Britten (Entrepreneur, CEO of "Broadway Brands")

    In the seventh episode of 'Cuse Infused, Evan speaks with Matt Britten, who is a producer, writer, director, and entrepreneur. He is the CEO of his company, "Broadway Brands," which produces newsletters, apps, sites, and other platforms for theater fans. Matt has served as Creative Director of the New York Musical Theater Festival, and on the board of The Uprising, a non-profit focused on supporting underserved teenagers in New York City. In 2019 and 2020, he was a producer of the Drama Desk Awards, and successfully led the ceremony to TV during the pandemic. Matt earned his BFA in Acting from Syracuse and currently serves on the Alumni Council of the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Evan speaks to Matt about his career as an actor in college, being innovative post-college, and why creating your own opportunities is the key to consistency.     Thom Miller (Associate Professor of Acting)

    In 'Cuse Infused's sixth episode, Evan speaks with Thom Miller, currently an Associate Professor and the Assistant Program Coordinator at Syracuse. In addition to teaching, Thom is a professional actor, singer, and dialect coach. He has his BFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and his MFA from the University of Illinois. Evan speaks to Thom about being in a conservatory acting program, and going to grad school for his MFA. He speaks about the reason he began teaching, and how he continues to have a life as a performer in addition to his role at Syracuse. He shares how he stays excited about his career and how a positive self-assessment can help anyone grow as an actor, and as a person (including him).     Josh Young (Tony Award Nominee for Jesus Christ Superstar)

    In this fifth episode, Evan speaks with Tony Nominee Josh Young, who is currently the head of Missouri State University's Musical Theatre program. Previously, he was the Coordinator of Musical Theatre at Oakland University. As an actor, Josh has had a fantastic career on Broadway and around the world. He earned his BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse, and after graduating, he performed in productions such as the Les Miserables tour as Marius, and the international tour of West Side Story as Tony. He was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar. He was also in the original cast of Amazing Grace in 2015. Evan speaks to Josh about transitioning from being a full-time performer to life as a teacher (Josh continues to perform with his wife in the Missouri area). He speaks about his experience in New York, being on tour, and how the New York City/Broadway lifestyle might not be for everyone.     Matte O'Brien (Writer of Anne of Green Gables: A New Musical)

    In this fourth episode, Evan speaks with Matte O'Brien, a writer, director, and teacher, who most recently wrote the book and lyrics for "Anne of Green Gables" which had its world premiere at the Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut. Matte has also written the book and lyrics for a musical called "Peter and I" with Matt Vinson, who also composed the music for "Anne of Green Gables". Matte's musical "White Noise" had a run in Chicago and was produced by Whoopi Goldberg. One of his plays, "The Wonderful Mr. and Mrs. O'Leary" had a run Off-Broadway in New York City. Matte has a BFA in musical theatre from Syracuse, and got his MFA in Directing Classic and Contemporary Texts from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Evan speaks to Matte about the transition from being a performer to becoming a lyricist and director, and what having two different degrees means to him. He also speaks about his experience with writing the book and lyrics for new musicals and how difficult yet fulfilling it can be.     Tristen Buettel (Broadway's Bad Cinderella)

    In this episode, Evan speaks with Tristen Buettel, currently in rehearsals for the new musical "Boop!: The Betty Boop Musical", which is having its first production in Chicago, beginning performances on November 19th, 2023. She has her BFA in musical theatre from Syracuse, and after graduating, she became a part of the touring company of "Jersey Boys", then came back to close the Off-Broadway production. Tristen made her Broadway debut in "Bad Cinderella" and has also been a part of productions such as the "Anne of Green Gables" premiere at Goodspeed, and "Ever After" at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta.
