I Kept Walking, But I Refuse To Be Quiet

I Kept Walking. But I Refuse To Be Quiet. Something happened in London recently that stopped me in my tracks, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. A racist incident. In broad daylight. In one of the most multicultural cities in the world. And like so many of these moments, it was followed by something almost as troubling as the incident itself. Silence. In this solo episode, I'm talking about what I witnessed, what it revealed, and what it means for every organisation that claims to be committed to inclusion and belonging. Because what I know after years of working inside organisations trying to move the needle on culture: we cannot keep building inclusion programmes for people we expect to leave their reality at the door. R@cism doesn't clock out when your employees walk into the building. And if your response to what is happening on our streets right now, across the UK, is silence, that silence is a culture statement. This episode is honest. It's personal. And it's for every leader, HR professional, and organisation that says the right things in the boardroom but goes quiet when it matters most. I kept walking. But I refuse to be quiet. In this episode: The incident that prompted this conversation, and why it isn't isolated The emotional reality of being a black person navigating these moments, and then showing up to work What genuine organisational inclusion looks like when the world outside is hostile The question every leader needs to sit with The Organisational Inclusionist is hosted by Grace Mosuro, Founder and CEO of Aquaintz Consulting.
