    The Image Restored Living as God Masterpiece

    This powerful message takes us deep into 1 Peter 1:14, exploring what it truly means to be identified as 'obedient children' of God. We're challenged to examine whether we've remained in spiritual childhood—that beautiful place of innocent trust and desire to be just like our Father—or whether we've slipped into spiritual adolescence, where we excuse our sin and justify our rebellion. The sermon draws a compelling parallel between a young child who desperately wants to dress like his father and wear the same hat, and our relationship with God. Just as that child's pure desire was simply to be like dad, our identity as believers should be rooted in wanting to reflect our Heavenly Father. Peter paints two breathtaking portraits: first, the magnificent work God has accomplished for us through salvation, choosing us before the foundation of the world, causing us to be born again to a living hope through Christ's resurrection, and protecting us with His almighty power. This is our calling: to live not as forgotten servants in a distant corner, but as princesses and princes of the kingdom of heaven.
