Month of Renewal: Recasting Vision Week ONE - Sunday August 2nd, 2026!

Podcast Episode Description What does it really mean to pray, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”? In this message, we revisit the vision God has given our church for 2026 and discover that Heaven—not culture, convenience, or survival—is the standard for the life of every believer. Jesus didn't come to create a new standard; He came to reveal the Father's. If we've seen Jesus, we've seen the Father. Therefore, we don't mirror our way—we mirror Yahweh. Using practical illustrations—from Dollar General's mission to reach underserved communities to Ray Kroc's insistence on staying true to the McDonald's brand—we explore what it looks like for followers of Jesus to become conduits of God's Kingdom in everyday life. God has strategically placed you in someone's "hope desert" so that Christ in you, the hope of glory, can reach them. This message is a call to stay on brand with the heart of Jesus by walking in the Spirit, clothing ourselves with mercy, kindness, forgiveness, humility, and patience, and asking one life-changing question: "Is this how it's done in Lexington... or is this how it's done in Heaven?" Join us as we pray for our teachers and students, recommit ourselves to carrying Heaven into our community, and prepare our hearts for our upcoming New Testament reading plan and 21 Days of Fasting. Scripture References: Matthew 6:5–10, John 14:9, Colossians 1:27, Matthew 5:3–10, Galatians 5:16, Colossians 3:12–15, James 1:19

    Chronicles series WEEK 2 - June 14th, 2026

Chronicles Series – Week 2: Inquire Again In Week 2 of our Chronicles series, we continue exploring how God invites us to view our history through the lens of His faithfulness rather than our failures. When we remember what God has done, hope is renewed, courage is restored, and faith begins to rise. Looking at 1 Chronicles 14, we discover David's habit of continually inquiring of the Lord. Even after receiving direction once, David didn't rely on yesterday's word for today's battle. When the opposition returned, David sought God again. His example reminds us that a thriving relationship with God is built on daily dependence, not occasional consultation. We also examine David's journey of bringing the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem. After an unsuccessful attempt driven by human methods, David learned the importance of following God's instructions rather than relying on self-made solutions. The lesson is clear: God's presence cannot be approached on our terms but through His way. Finally, in 1 Chronicles 21, we see the danger of trusting our own strength instead of seeking God's wisdom. David's census reveals what happens when we look to our resources rather than to the Lord. Instead of Yahweh, David chose his way—and the consequences followed. This message is a call to cultivate a life led by the Spirit, to seek God daily, and to remember that success in God's Kingdom is never found in self-sufficiency. The Spirit of God is not an accessory to life—He is essential to every step we take. Key Scriptures: 1 Chronicles 14:8-17, 1 Chronicles 15, 1 Chronicles 21, Psalm 119:52
