Jasmin, in her PhD work, predicted the effect of size and shape of metal nanoparticles on the local work function in addition to the effect of solvent surroundings. We, in this episode, get into deep dive discussion to further understand the implications of her theoretical results on better catalyst designs for electrochemical systems.
