Today, she and Tania get scientific with Oxford University’s Professor Sanjay Manohar. Sanjay is an author, an MRC Clinician Scientist Fellow, an Associate Professor and an Honorary Consultant Neurologist, and he joins us to talk about how our brains work and how we learn. S4 E5: Poles, Piaffe & Prosecco - How We Learn with Alice Oppenheimer

It’s a new month on the pod, and another really interesting theme that we are investigating. We are spending all of October finding out how we learn and how our horses learn. It’s a huge and fascinating subject, and we hope you’ll enjoy the journey with us. In today’s pod, we are chatting with Alice Oppenheimer about her TRT-inspired method of training horses. How does it work, what are the benefits and how has it changed her approach to her horses? We loved chatting with Alice, and there were lots of ‘Huh’ moments.  Tania talks about learning dressage test, cantering in a two-point position and improving medium canter, while Katie takes one for the team with this week’s tack room tipple.
