    In June 2022, 15-year-old Joniah Walker disappeared from her Milwaukee home and has not been seen since. The quiet, intelligent teen was caught on camera at 2:30 PM carrying a mysterious backpack and wearing her brother’s clothes. Three minutes before her dad was supposed to pick her up, she texted her therapist saying she was running away. Then, she disappeared without a trace.  What investigators uncovered was deeply disturbing: secret online activity, unexplained deliveries, disturbing messages, and warning signs that only made sense in hindsight. Her parents had noticed things but couldn't piece together what was happening until it was too late. Two years later, in the same neighborhood, 19-year old Sade Robinson was brutally murdered and dismembered. Sade worked at the same restaurant where Joniah was supposed to start her summer job. Could there be a connection? Joniah would be 18 now. She could still be out there.  Every year, thousands of Black children go missing in America. Their cases don't get 24-hour news coverage. No national news specials. No viral social media campaigns. Their faces don't become household names. The statistics are stark: Black and brown children make up a disproportionate number of missing persons cases, yet receive a fraction of the media attention.  Share Joniah's story. Share her picture. When her adoptive mother left for medical treatment, she left Kylie and her sisters in the care of 43-year-old Arnold Rivera Jr.—a man with a disturbing criminal history including charges of child sexual abuse. Months before Kylie's death, warnings about Arnold's interactions with Kylie were reported to DCFS. They were ignored.     SIGN THE PETITION: Petition Justice for Jax: Oversight Now! Jax Gratton was a 34-year-old transgender woman and a beloved Denver hairstylist who l built a life defined by authenticity, community, and purpose. On the night of April 15, 2025, Jax left her Denver, CO apartment around 10 p.m., telling her roommate she would be out for about three hours. She never came home. Her family and community rallied and searched for 2 months -  but ultimately, her body was found severely decomposed and partially mummified—in a narrow space beneath the second-story window of a Lakewood apartment complex. As of NOW,  officials have said they can’t say if Jax fell, jumped, or was pushed from the window while alive, or if she was dropped from the window after death. The official finding for both the cause and manner of death was left as undetermined. None of this is adding up. And it is this lack of definitive answers (and so much more)  that has spurred Jax's friends and family into a determined fight for justice.  Loved ones are petitioning for an independent oversight task force to monitor the investigation to ensure it is transparent and thorough- and you can help!     “Why doesn’t it affect me to see someone die?” “Does dying of suffocation hurt?” “Strangulation and suffocation.” "How long does it take for a body to turn cold after death?” “How long after death does the jaw lock?” “How long for coroner to determine cause of death?” These are just some of the chilling searches Brian Phillip Epperson reportedly made after the suspicious overdose deaths of two women. In this episode, we explore THREE strikingly similar overdose cases and other crimes linked to Epperson in Kentucky. As of September 2025, Epperson has only been charged with one of these murders and is, of course, presumed innocent until proven guilty. But these women—Reacheal, Krissi, and Hilory—deserve to be remembered for who they were, not just how they died.
