    Turner Syndrome Awareness Month

Ending Turner Syndrome Awareness Month with Strength, Honesty & Hope Guests: Somer Sherman & Sarah Morris As we close out Turner Syndrome Awareness Month, RTC's A Place at the Table is proud to spotlight a powerful and personal conversation with Somer Sherman, Job Developer and Coach at RTC Services, and Sarah Morris, RTC client and self-advocate. In this episode, Somer and Sarah share their lived experiences with Turner Syndrome; the highs, the lows, and everything in between. They speak candidly about: The emotional and physical challenges that can come with Turner Syndrome Navigating infertility and the grief that can accompany it The frustration of not always being taken seriously because of small stature The struggle to fit in socially and professionally Learning to advocate for themselves in medical, workplace, and personal settings The importance of community, encouragement, and support While they discuss real challenges, this conversation is also filled with resilience, humor, growth, and gratitude. Both Somer and Sarah emphasize the incredible support systems in their lives, from family and friends to colleagues and the RTC Services community. This episode is a reminder that awareness is more than information; it’s about listening to real stories and building inclusive workplaces where every individual is seen, heard, and valued. Thank you for joining us as we close Turner Syndrome Awareness Month by celebrating strength, advocacy, and the power of community.
