    A Lot of Games in Not A Lot of Days

    An action-packed first half of the season saw the Red Leafs go 2-7-0 with wins against local rival Trinity Western University. Head Coach Mark Coletta and broadcaster Nick Toren dive into each of the games starting with the first four against UBC and TWU, followed by the first five games states-side against Long Island, Sacred Heart, Robert Morris, Lake Superior State, and Bowling Green State. The guys then preview the team's first home games since September against Maryville, a "possible NCAA transitionary team", and the Red Leafs' next road trip against St. Lawrence and Coach Coletta's alma mater: SUNY–Plattsburgh.     The Rise In Red Podcast is back for the 2024.25 season!     2024 Season Wrap-Up

    The Rise In Red Podcast returns for one last time to wrap up the 2024 season! This week, Mark and Nick wrap up the 2024 season with a recap of the final two games against Minot State back in February and put a bow on the year that was with a send-off to our 11 seniors who will be moving on from the Red Leafs Hockey program. Then without saying too much, the guys shed some light on the behind-the-scenes planning process to this point for the 2025 season, including how the recruiting process has changed for Coach Mark with the existence of the non-conference team.     This week, Mark and Nick talk about the three huge games for the Red Leafs program out in the Boston/Providence area back at the beginning of January, starting off with the 5-1 loss to #1 Boston College, followed by the 5-2 loss to #9 Providence, and finishing off with the 1-1 tie against the #2 Boston University Terriers. The guys also preview the final two games against the ACHA M1 #1 Minot State Beavers taking place on Feb. 16th and 17th.     Nick and Mark are back after a couple of weeks off! This week the guys discuss a challenging trip out to New York and Pennsylvania to face the LIU Sharks and Arcadia Knights and preview not two, but four games at the New Year, starting with Trinity Western University on December 30th at home. The team will head off to Massachusetts the following week in the program’s biggest weekend yet, starting with the Boston University Terriers, the Boston College Eagles, and wrapping the trip up with a rematch 8 years in the making against the Providence College Friars.     The Red Leafs are back in the win column!
