    It's Never About What You Think (Ep #25 Relationship Series)

This week, I'm sharing a very personal story from my recovery after reconstructive foot surgery. Learning to use crutches again brought up an experience I hadn't thought much about in years, and it became a powerful reminder that our past doesn't just live in our memories - it can also live in our bodies. As I found myself standing at the top of a staircase during physical therapy, I realized the crutches were never really the problem. My body was responding to a past experience that had taught it something wasn't safe. That moment reminded me just how powerful conscious awareness can be. When we learn to pause, notice what our body is communicating, and respond with curiosity instead of judgment, we create the opportunity for a different experience. We talk about the stories we create about how other people might react, why disappointment is a normal part of being human, and how trying to avoid disappointing others can sometimes lead us to disappoint ourselves instead. I also share why boundaries aren't usually the problem, how self-judgment often shows up in the process, and why someone else's emotional response doesn't automatically mean you've done something wrong.     How Do You Want to Feel? A Mid-Year Check-In

In this mid-year check-in, I explore why how you feel matters just as much as the goals you're working toward. We talk about the tendency to postpone our joy and happiness until life gets easier, why waiting for the perfect circumstances keeps us stuck, and how small, intentional moments can help you feel more connected, peaceful, present, and alive right now. I also share lessons from my current season of recovery, how my Feel Good List has evolved, and why becoming more aware of your energy creates the opportunity to respond rather than react. This episode is a simple reminder for all of us, that joy doesn't have to be big, expensive, or complicated.     Trusting What You Can’t Yet See (Relationship Series Ep #22)

We talk about our need for proof, why we often abandon the process too soon, and how personal growth, healing, boundaries, self-trust, and even business often require patience before we see tangible results. We talk about the fear underneath perfectionism, how waiting for the “right time” keeps people stuck, and why confidence is something that’s built through aligned action - not before it. I also share how perfectionism often comes from wanting approval, avoiding judgment, and trying not to disappoint people.
