We’ve been exploring deep relationships - with ourselves, our bodies, honesty, and boundaries - and today we turn toward a relationship that often gets forgotten as we grow up:  our relationship with joy, playfulness, and pleasure. So many people tell me they don’t know what they like to do for fun anymore.  I used to feel the same way, and honestly… that makes so much sense when you’ve spent years being responsible, productive, or in survival mode. But “I don’t know” isn’t the end - it’s the beginning of curiosity.     When a Friendship No Longer Feels Right (Ep #5 - Relationship Series)

    Friendships change as we grow - and that doesn’t mean anything went wrong. In this episode of the Relationship Series, I’m exploring how friendships naturally evolve when you reconnect more deeply with yourself. Sometimes friendships fade slowly, sometimes they shift shape, and sometimes they end - without a dramatic moment or clear closure. We talk about over-giving, unspoken resentment, grief that often goes unacknowledged, and the hesitation to open yourself up to new friendships after being hurt. I also explore how staying connected to yourself - instead of abandoning your needs to maintain harmony - changes the way you relate to friends, friend groups, and connection as a whole. This isn’t about cutting people off or forcing outcomes. It’s about honesty, self-trust, and allowing relationships to change without making yourself wrong. We’ll end with a card pull and reflection questions to help you gently check in with yourself.     Are You Busy…or Are You Avoiding Yourself? (Ep #4 - Relationship Series)

    In this episode of the Relationship Series, I’m exploring a relationship most people don’t even realize they’re in: their relationship with avoidance. Avoidance isn’t laziness or lack of discipline - it’s a protective strategy your nervous system learned long before you knew you were using it. And it shows up everywhere: staying busy, saying yes when your body is a no, pretending you’re fine, over-focusing on other people, or pushing down the truth because you’re afraid of what it might require you to feel or change. Awareness is powerful - but awareness without aligned action becomes another form of self-abandonment. Today, we’re talking about the signals your body sends before your mind catches up, the ways we override those signals, and what becomes possible when you finally stop running from yourself and choose one small honest action instead.     Your Relationship With Your Body’s Signals (Ep #3 - Relationship Series)

    This episode is not the one I originally sat down to record - and that’s exactly the point. Today I’m sharing how my own body stopped me mid-recording, why the planned episode on friendships felt completely “off,” and how listening to that tightness, heaviness, and constriction led me to the real conversation we were meant to have: your relationship with your body’s signals. We talk about the sensations beneath your thoughts - the nudges, the tightening, the resistance, the “not this, not now” moments - and why your body often tells the truth before your mind can even process it. In a season when so many people override their energy, push through exhaustion, say yes out of obligation, and call dysfunction “normal,” this conversation is a reminder that your body is always speaking… the question is whether you’ve learned how to listen. I share how ignoring your internal cues creates depletion, burnout, resentment, and survival mode -  and how learning to trust those cues changes every relationship in your life. We also explore why outsourcing your peace, happiness, or stability to anything outside of you keeps you dependent rather than regulated… and how coming back to your own body is where real grounding begins.
