    #51: When The Internet Becomes The Jury (w/Stephanie Carolina)

    Send us Fan Mail Jay and Stephanie start by discussing how the internet has completely lost the plot, which is exactly why they’re here. Jay recaps his post-work escape to New York City, where he finally gets compared to his lifelong hero, Erin Brockovich, accidentally buys a ponytail hat without the ponytail, converts Stephanie to steak tartare, and discovers that Fitzgerald may have found his true calling as a tiny purse dog. Then things spiral. Jay and Stephanie get into luxury bags that apparently can’t survive being used as actual bags, Target’s latest viral controversy, and the spectacular Lovesac versus Derek Cahill PR disaster. Jay decides he may need to apply for a job as “Mark from Marketing” and immediately starts fixing the entire situation. From there, a conversation about gifted education somehow turns into a conspiracy theory about whether the GATE program was secretly scouting children for three-letter government agencies. Jay was in GATE, so naturally, he decides this explains everything that has ever gone wrong in his life. Jay and Stephanie also discuss the new Dancing with the Stars cast, Stephanie commits an unforgivable act against Julia Stiles, Jay dives into his latest armchair-detective obsession, and the two of them discover that you can apparently buy a seat at a stranger’s wedding. It’s pop culture, conspiracy theories, corporate incompetence, questionable investigative journalism, and approximately 47 unnecessary side quests. Welcome to Dose of Delusion.

    #50: The Real Tea About Reality (w/Stephanie Carolina)

    Send us Fan Mail Okay so Jay and Stephanie somehow start by complaining about surviving triple-digit Arizona heat before immediately taking a detour to Miami, where Stephanie explains how a bachelorette party ended up with strangers sending the bride thousands of dollars for drinks. Naturally, this leads to a debate about Miami 10s, Type A vacation planners, and whether anyone actually enjoys planning group trips. From there, things completely derail. Jay defends his decision to permanently move his birthday to the summer, admits he once made all of his friends go around a table and say something nice about him, and shares why airline passengers who sleep in aisle seats deserve to be investigated. Then the conspiracy theories begin. The two dive headfirst into reality TV, exposing how producers stitch together confessionals, feed cast members iconic one-liners, and manipulate storylines, all while breaking down the newest Real Housewives obsession and asking whether any reality show is actually... reality. As if that wasn't enough, they somehow end up talking about cheating scandals, friendship loyalty, fake apartments, second families, the outrageous price of Subway sandwiches, and why absolutely nothing feels real anymore. It's chaotic, it's hilarious, and somehow every tangent makes perfect sense... until it doesn't.

    #49: Texas Skinny, California Fat (w/ Stephanie Carolina)

    Send us Fan Mail Okay, so... somehow we started by catching up on life and within ten minutes we were talking about World Pride, Texas, Hilary Duff, Ozempic, Botox, curly hair routines, and whether Jay should just go to Turkey and buy himself a new head of hair. Naturally. We also get into body image, making new friends as adults, why nobody acknowledged Jay's 10-pound weight loss (he's definitely not bitter about it 👀), and whether being the "friend with the fun plans" is actually a blessing or a curse. Basically, this episode is what happens when two best friends haven't talked in a while and absolutely refuse to stay on one topic. Enjoy the chaos.

    #47: Style, Status & a Little Self-Delusion (w/guest host: Stephanie Lopez)

    Send us Fan Mail Okay so Jay finally has an in-person guest (Stephanie) and within seconds they go from cute boys to a full breakdown of “designer delusion” - aka thinking a Lululemon outfit will fix your life all while Jay casually admits he ordered multiple Fashion Nova packages to the wrong addresses and just accepted his fate... Then Steph counters with “I didn’t shop for 4.5 years” (shade), so now we’re talking confidence, body changes, and “if you look good you feel good” Then SOMEHOW (eyeroll) they derail into 90s fashion, JFK Love Story, hot actors, and why everyone has the same iPhone face. ..and all of a sudden it’s an adulting episode (like...what??): deep freezer, Costco executive membership, buying a house, financial stress. But then they finally end on AI chaos, lazy coworkers, and somehow… six-finger crime rings. This episode is delusional chaos and it works.

    #46: Gay, Straight, and Completely Missing the Point (w/Guest host Max Van Woensel)

    Send us Fan Mail Okay so Jay brings on his straight, suspiciously too good of an ally friend Max, and what starts as a chill convo turns into a full-on identity unpacking spiral. They argue about Heated Rivalry. Max says it’s basically gay porn with a weak plot, and Jay’s like… no babe, that’s trauma, repression, and lived experience. Then suddenly we’re deep in the trenches talking about being closeted, dating someone who won’t claim you, and the emotional DAMAGE of being loved privately but hidden publicly. Max tries to understand the gay experience in real time (honestly, gold star for effort), they get into internalized homophobia, growing up in different cultures, and why some people take 25 years, a marriage, and two kids to realize they’re gay. Then it pivots into identity vs personality, gay mannerisms, and whether being “visibly gay” is authentic or something we learn. Light existential crisis, casual evening chat.

    #45: The Bread is Moldy And The Gossip is Hot (w/Guest host Dinah Bakeer)

    Send us Fan Mail So... AJ is off this week chasing big career dreams, Jay brings Dinah in, and within minutes we’re dealing with angry mothers, engagement ring decision paralysis, and a Jacksonville trip where Jay gets bullied into eating a moldy sandwich like it’s totally normal. Then the two of them spiral into The Traitors, Alan Cumming in a leather harness, Ryan Murphy being ridiculously talented, JFK Jr. thirst, and finally they start solving Dear Abby and Am I The A*****e problems like two people who absolutely should NOT be trusted with relationship advice.

    #44: Cardio, Cholesterol, Consequences

    Send us Fan Mail Okay so AJ is glowing because Botox, Jay is experimenting with Vaseline like he’s in a dermatology lab, then Jay joins gay kickball and realizes it’s basically the IRS with jerseys. We get mad about shoe rules, talk Benito Bowl and people acting dumb, laugh at Jill Zarin getting dropped, and then Jay finds out his LDL is elite and starts strutting like he’s booked for Fashion Week.

    REPOST: An Oldie But A Goodie

    Send us Fan Mail Jay fumbled so hard this week that he accidentally deleted the entire episode. Like, fully Thanos-snapped our recording into the shadow realm. So today’s drop is an oldie but a goodie, pulled straight from the Dose of Delusion vault because we refuse to let Jay’s “oopsie” ruin your weekly mess.
