My favorite part of my day

One of my newfound daily delights is engaging in honest and straightforward conversations about dogs. As I embark on my daily commute to work, I make it a point to indulge in this delightful activity. Not only is it highly informative and educational, but it also brings me immense joy to discover new and fascinating facts about our beloved canine companions.
Ethical breeding
Aug 17
Ethical breeding episode… your guest is delusional. How convenient that she started breeding during Covid after she left her job. And she started breeding because she had a high energy rescue mutt? I lost brain cells listening to this episode so thanks for that. Also not once did she say she breeds to better the breed. So unethical. If she is so great with dogs and training them, why doesn’t she use her time to do some good for dogs and train rescue dogs to go into a home. Why? Because it’s all about making a buck. Like everything in life. All you gotta do is follow the money. Loved the part where she rehomes her “washed dogs” aka they no longer make her money so they are no longer of use to her. Why wasn’t she asked how she feels about bringing more dogs into a world when millions are euthanized every year? Her “poms” are taking up a space in a home for a rescue dog. I’m not saying stop breeding forever. I’m saying stop until we aren’t killing millions every year for space. It’s not rocket science but they she would have to get a real job. Yea and by the way, we wouldn’t have to have rescues if you would stop adding to the overpopulation. And rescues are all volunteers who rely on donations. Rescue volunteers work full time jobs god forbid we not have the bandwidth to sit down with every potential adopter for hours of interrogation. I can tell you right now, look at the statistics. Maybe 5% of all dogs in shelters originated from someone who chose to adopt instead of shop. Rescues dogs are not the dogs that are filling up shelters. This entire episode is idiotic. Take the profit out of it for her and then maybe she can use common sense.
