    Solo Reflections: grief/ school/ work

    It's been one hell of a year. Navigating death, school, and a full-time job has been overwhelming. This last-minute solo trip was a great way of slowing down and disconnecting from my responsibilities for a while, even if it was only for 2 days. With the time I had, I made the most of it by exploring new places and hiking to new spots. Life has a funny way of teaching you what you're capable of, especially in moments of temporary defeat.

    Why Saving is Such a Struggle in your 20s

    Trust me when I say, this shit is hard. I mean it. Growing up with no financial literacy, the hardest part about learning to save money is navigating your emotions. All our choices are based on our emotions. Being in debt teaches you to work with what you have. Although we're deep in the hole, we are forced to work with what we have, with the that we have.     Cultivating Female Friendships | pt.1

    It's hard, don't get me wrong. But as we get older, we find what works and what doesn't, similar to any relationship. But female friendships are more important than anything. To have someone you can share wholesome experiences with is so healing for my inner child. To dress up, cook, and be silly with is so fun. Bringing play back into my life this year is a must. It takes time to cultivate anything real, and this is where I'm at. Real, genuine relationships take time to create, and I think that's the fun part.

    Navigating Life | as a 23yr old figuring it out along the way

    After a series of deaths within my family in such a short period of time, life reminds me to take inventory of what I currently have. Listen to this episode as I talk about how I navigate loss, life, a full-time job, and going back to college in the span of a couple of weeks. I'm not sure how I'm doing it, but I'm always figuring out a way. When you feel limited or stretched too thin, you get creative.     If it was easy, you wouldn't be as curious.

    Think about it: if you had everything you wanted, you wouldn't be as curious about pursuing your passions. You wouldn't have this drive to become the best version of yourself. The journey to your story wouldn't be as exciting if you just read the ending. The story is as good as the plot.
