EP38 To Date or Not To Date: Girl Talk with Lindsay Haddan

TO DATE OR NOT TO DATE… THAT IS THE QUESTION.  Dating apps. Meeting someone organically. Choosing not to date. Waiting on God. Living in purpose. What if there isn’t one “right” way? In this episode of UNMATCHED, Lindsay and I are having a very real, intimate conversation about dating and what happens when you stop trying to force a relationship to happen. Lindsay shares her experience with dating apps—the disappointment, the things she encountered that weren’t what she was looking for, and what happened when she decided to step back and allow God to take over that area of her life. And then something beautiful happened… While she was simply living her life, serving at church, doing her job, and walking in her purpose, she met someone organically through a friend.  Meanwhile, I’ve made the decision not to date. Two women. Two different choices. One common desire: to follow God and trust Him with our lives. So… is dating apps a good thing? Can they help? Can they hurt? Is choosing not to date a lack of faith—or could it actually be obedience in a particular season? We’re talking about ALL of it.  No judgment. No formula. No “this is what everyone should do.” Just two women being honest about dating, singleness, purpose, disappointment, desire, timing, and trusting God. Because maybe the question isn’t “Should I date?” Maybe it’s… “What is God asking ME to do in this season?”   Tune into UNMATCHED for this honest conversation.  And come ready to ask yourself some questions, too. #UNMATCHED #Dating #ChristianDating #Singleness #Purpose #GodsTiming #DatingApps #TrustGod #ChristianWomen #FaithAndRelationships Support the show

Ep 37 UNMATCHED Look at Luke a Man on a Mission

What does it look like to be UNMATCHED for the Kingdom of God? It looks like saying YES when God calls you to go.  In this episode of UNMATCHED, we sit down with Luke Cusack—a follower and disciple of Jesus whose passion for people, missions, and discipleship has taken him far beyond simply talking about faith. Luke went to Mozambique, Africa, and took on an incredible assignment: helping build a school for children and communities in need. He raised the money, went there himself, and put his faith into action—serving, building, giving, and loving people along the way.  But his mission didn’t stop when he came home. Luke continues to invest in people through discipleship groups, (small groups where believers intentionally learn, grow, and help one another follow Jesus), pouring into others and helping them grow in their relationship with Christ. His story is a reminder that you don’t have to wait for a platform, a title, or a perfect opportunity to make an impact. You just have to be willing to say YES.  Go where God sends you.  Serve where there is a need.  Love people deeply.  Make disciples.  Live your faith out loud. Luke is truly an UNMATCHED man—passionate about Jesus, passionate about people, and passionate about making a difference wherever God leads him.  Tune in to UNMATCHED and hear Luke’s story! You were never created to blend in. You were created to live ON PURPOSE. #UNMATCHED #UnmatchedPodcast #LukeCusack #Jesus #Discipleship #Missions #Mozambique #KingdomOfGod #FaithInAction #MakeDisciples #LiveOnPurpose #ServePeople #MissionMinded #Purpose #Destiny Support the show

E34 Rebeca's UNMATCHED Love Journey from Brazil to the USA

In this deeply honest and moving episode of UNMATCHED, Rebecca Hummel sits with Geo, the Podcast Host, and shares her story shaped by faith, transition, and surrender.  Raised as a missionary kid in Brazil, Rebecca spent her entire life immersed in a culture of ministry—until everything changed. As an adult, she moved to the United States for college, stepping into a world that felt both familiar and foreign at the same time. She opens up about the hidden challenges of that transition—navigating identity, culture shock, and what it really means to find your place when “home” feels unclear.  But this conversation goes even deeper. Rebecca vulnerably shares her journey through heartbreak—the unraveling of a relationship she once believed was the one. What happens when the future you imagined falls apart? How do you let go of someone you thought God had chosen for you?  With raw honesty, she walks us through the process of releasing control, trusting God in the unknown, and learning that His plans are not only different—but better. Her story is a powerful reminder that God’s “no” is never rejection, but often redirection toward something greater than we could have chosen ourselves.  Now happily married, Rebecca reflects on how God rewrote her love story in the most unexpected and beautiful way—and what it looks like to desire God’s best instead of settling for our own version of it.  Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, healing from heartbreak, or learning to trust God with your future, this episode will encourage you to let go, lean in, and believe that what God has for you is worth the wait. S02E09 UNMATCHED Discussion with Lori Jones: Division, Slander, & Betrayal

UNMATCHED welcomes an extraordinary leader and woman of faith: Lori Jones, Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House, devoted wife, and mother of three. In this powerful and deeply relevant conversation, we explore something every UNMATCHED person in leadership, ministry, and community inevitably encounters: relational hurt. What do you do when you are genuinely trying to love and serve your community… and someone responds with division? with slander or words that cut deeply? with betrayal? For those who are UNMATCHED and striving to reflect Christ in their circles of influence, these moments can feel isolating and disorienting.  How do you continue showing up in love when you’ve been misunderstood?  How do you forgive when the wound feels personal?  How do you move forward without building walls around your heart? Lori brings wisdom shaped by leadership, motherhood, marriage, and ministry as we discuss: • Responding to divisiveness with integrity • Navigating betrayal without becoming bitter • Forgiveness as a discipline, not just a feeling • Operating in discernment without hardening your heart • Choosing the Jesus way in the face of conflict This episode is not about avoidance.  It’s about maturity It’s about spiritual strength It’s about exemplifying the biblical model of reconciliation, humility, and unwavering love — even when it costs you. If you’ve ever been hurt while trying to do good… If you’ve ever questioned how to stay soft-hearted in a hard moment… If you want to lead and love like Christ in your community… This conversation is for you Support the show
