Understanding Narcissism: The Hidden Architecture of Self (Part 1)

Send us a text In this episode, I begin a two-part conversation about narcissism that is rooted in understanding, not labeling or blame. This is Part 1, where I lay the foundation by explaining what narcissism truly is and why it so often leaves people feeling confused, depleted, and disconnected from themselves. I explore both grandiose and covert narcissism, how these patterns form, and why they are driven by fragile self-esteem and survival rather than confidence or strength. I also talk about trauma bonding and why so many intelligent, compassionate people stay in relationships that quietly erode their sense of self. If you have ever questioned your reality, felt responsible for someone else’s emotions, or wondered why it felt so hard to leave, I want you to know there is nothing wrong with you. Your responses were adaptations, not flaws. Part 2 will take us deeper into what happens as these relationships unravel, how narcissistic dynamics often end, and what healing can actually look like once you understand what you are dealing with. We will also explore the question many people quietly ask themselves: what if I am the narcissist? Key takeaways: Narcissism is rooted in fragile self-esteem, not confidenceCovert narcissism is often harder to recognize but deeply destabilizingTrauma bonding explains why it is so hard to leaveConfusion is not weakness, it is a signalThis episode is about clarity, compassion, and reclaiming your inner truth. If this resonates and you are navigating a difficult relationship, I invite you to reach out to me for support. You do not have to walk this path alone.  jenny@jaiello.com. When the Mind Forgets but the Body Creates Chronic Pain

Send us a text Exploring trauma, memory, and the nervous system’s role in long-term pain Living with chronic pain is something most people never see, yet it touches every part of life. In this episode, I share my personal experience with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) after a traumatic heel injury — the most painful condition known to medicine. My hope is that by opening this chapter of my life, you feel less alone in your own healing or better equipped to support someone walking through something similar. I talk about what CRPS felt like for me, how the nervous system can get stuck in a high-alert loop, and why emotional, spiritual, and mental healing were just as essential as physical recovery. I also share the practices that helped me regain peace and a sense of agency, from meditation and breathwork to visualization and changing the way I spoke to and about my body. Takeaways: Chronic pain involves physical, emotional, and nervous system healingLanguage, visualization, and spiritual practice support recoveryCompassion from others profoundly shapes the healing journeyIf you or someone you love is living with chronic pain, I hope this episode brings understanding, compassion, and hope. From Grief to Grace: My Journey Through Estrangement

Send us a text In this deeply personal episode, I open up about one of the hardest chapters of my life — estrangement from two of my children — and how I found peace, healing, and meaning through spiritual principles like the Law of Relativity and the Law of Neutrality. I share how years of silence became an unexpected teacher, revealing that love can still exist even when contact is gone. Through grief, reflection, and spiritual practice, I learned to release blame, honor boundaries, and allow grace to do what I could not. This episode is for anyone living through family estrangement, loss, or disconnection. My hope is that it helps you see that love doesn’t end — it transforms. Healing begins when we stop asking “Why is this happening to me?” and begin to see that life is happening through me. Key Takeaways: The hidden lessons of estrangement and griefHow universal laws help bring peaceWhy neutrality and relativity shift suffering into healingIf you’re walking this road, you’re not alone. The Courage to Feel What Hurts: Finding Freedom Through Healing

Send us a text In this episode, I’m pausing my usual storytelling series to talk about something that has shaped every chapter of my journey—the courage to feel what hurts. For years, I walked through waves of loss, grief, shame, addiction, and personal reckoning. These weren’t quick moments of pain; they were seasons of life that broke me open again and again. I used to think strength meant keeping it together. Now, I know real strength comes from allowing myself to feel what hurts—fully and honestly. Because pain doesn’t disappear when we bury it; it only heals when we face it. Whether you’re walking through your own shadow work, grief, or heartbreak, this conversation is about honoring your humanity, finding your power, and stepping into freedom. Healing isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence, courage, and love. Key Takeaways: Pain doesn’t disappear when ignored—it heals when felt. Our shadow holds the keys to deep personal freedom.Vulnerability is not weakness; it’s the birthplace of transformation.Healing allows us to show up more fully for ourselves and others. If this episode resonates, I’d love to hear from you. Send us a text In this episode of With Love, Jenny, I continue my deeply personal conversation with my daughter-in-law, Heather, as she courageously shares her journey through addiction and recovery. Her honesty and wisdom shed light on what it’s really like to walk both sides of that path — from active addiction to the daily work of sobriety. We talk about the messy truth of healing — how recovery isn’t just about getting clean, but learning to live with integrity, rebuild trust, and rediscover self-worth. Heather opens up about what helped her most, what didn’t, and how love, boundaries, and community played a powerful role in her recovery. If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, I hope this episode brings hope, compassion, and a reminder that recovery is possible — one day, one choice, one act of love at a time. When Love Isn’t Enough: The Truth About Addiction in the Family (Part 1) | Ep #42

Send us a text Addiction often doesn’t just cost lives — it can cost freedom, too. Every year, Americans spend roughly $10 billion incarcerating people for drug offenses. Imagine half a million lives behind bars, each costing taxpayers over $20,000 a year. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Across the entire prison system, the U.S. spends more than $80 billion annually on corrections — money that could provide treatment, not just punishment. But on a more personal level, I walk you through one of the hardest things life has presented to me … my son’s addiction. My goal is to educate you… to help you… to open your eyes to see what is possible and what is happening if your child is using opioids or other substances.
