    EP: 50 Comparison

Comparison has a way of quietly sneaking into motherhood. It can show up in our parenting, our homes, our schedules, our kids, our relationships, and even our walk with God. Maybe you think, "Comparison isn't really something I struggle with," or maybe it's a battle you face every day. Wherever you find yourself, this conversation is for you. In this episode of Motherhood Meets Faith Podcast, we're diving into the topic of comparison in motherhood. Together, we'll unpack what comparison really is, how it subtly weaves its way into our lives, what our culture says about it versus what God's Word says, and practical, biblical ways to break free from its grip. Our prayer is that this conversation will strengthen your faith, encourage your heart, and lovingly challenge you to walk in the freedom and confidence God has already given you. Because you were never meant to parent from a place of comparison—you were created to faithfully steward the unique motherhood He's entrusted to you. Let's dive in. ________________________________________________________ This month, we are offering A Small Gathering for moms in the Lancaster and surrounding area and the Ashland and surrounding area. Expectant Wonder

It's December — the season of lights, cozy nights, and a little extra magic in the air. Everywhere we turn, there's talk of wonder — the kind that makes our hearts swell when we picture baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in that manger under the glow of a shining star. It's a beautiful image, isn't it? Peaceful. Holy. Still. But let's be honest — the beauty of that moment didn't come easy. Mary wasn't sitting in a quiet nursery with a rocking chair and a sound machine. She was a young girl, far from home, giving birth to the Savior of the world… in a barn surrounded by animals. And moms — life is full of the unexpected, isn't it? And those unexpected moments can leave us worried or just plain tired. But here's the hope: Mary shows us another way, the better way. Instead of giving into worry, she leaned into expectant wonder — trusting that even in the mess God was doing something miraculous. Let's talk about Expectant Wonder. ____________________________________________________ Click here to join our private online community to have access to a larger network of Jesus loving moms AND get details for all in-person opportunities.   Click here to sign up for FREE devotionals just for moms.
