Are You Becoming Who You Keep Praying to Be? When Faith, Forgiveness, and Accountability Meet

We pray for peace, strength, healing, growth, and a better version of ourselves. But have we ever stopped to ask whether the decisions we're making reflect the person we're praying to become? In this episode, I'm getting personal about a journey that has challenged me to look beyond what I say I believe and examine how I'm actually living. For a long time, I knew my worth. I knew I was a good woman and a good person. But knowing my value and making decisions that honored it were two different things. I found myself giving people chance after chance, allowing one good moment to outweigh ten painful ones, and holding on to who someone could become instead of accepting who they were showing me they were. But somewhere along the way, something shifted. And so did my prayers. Instead of only asking God to take away the tears, I started asking Him for strength, grace, peace, and the boldness to stand up for myself without losing the person I am. We're talking about forgiveness beyond simply saying "I forgive you," learning to stop minimizing our feelings to protect someone else's comfort, and understanding the difference between doing our part and trusting God with what we cannot control. This isn't about having perfect faith, never making mistakes, or pretending that growth is easy. It's about accountability, surrender, and learning to live in the truth of who God is helping us become. Because sometimes becoming who you're praying to be doesn't mean becoming an entirely different person. Sometimes it means finally making decisions that reflect the person you've known you were all along. So let me ask you: Are you becoming who you keep praying to be, or are you still holding on to the things that keep you from growing? Let's have an honest conversation. ❤️🎙️ #FaithAndGrowth #ChristianPodcast #PersonalGrowth #Forgiveness #SelfWorth #FaithJourney #Accountability #Healing

WHO ARE YOU WHEN NOBODY NEEDS YOU?

When Being Needed Becomes Your Identity Have you ever been everybody's person, but wondered who would be there when you needed somebody? The strong friend. The problem solver. The listening ear. The one who always finds a way, even when you're barely holding things together yourself. But what happens when being needed becomes the way you measure being loved? In this episode, I'm getting personal. We're talking about childhood experiences, absent parents, friendships, relationships, and the ways our past can shape how we show up for others. For a long time, I lived by the belief that if my pain could be somebody else's gain, then it was worth it. If I could protect someone else from experiencing what I went through, then maybe my pain served a purpose. But I've learned something along the way: Just because my pain taught somebody else a lesson doesn't mean I deserved to experience it. We're unpacking the difference between being loved and being needed, why treating people the way you want to be treated doesn't guarantee they'll do the same, and how choosing yourself can make people uncomfortable when they're used to you putting them first. This isn't about blaming others or pretending I've figured everything out. It's about accountability, healing, boundaries, and recognizing the parts of ourselves we've neglected while trying to be everything for everybody else. Because sometimes the hardest person to show up for is yourself. And one of the biggest lessons I've learned is this: People outgrew needing me, and I outgrew the need to feel loved by being needed by them. So today, I'm asking you to sit with two questions: ❤️ Who are you when nobody needs you? ❤️ And who do you finally get to be when you stop needing everybody to need you? Let's have an honest conversation. 🎙️ #WhoAreYouWhenNobodyNeedsYou #PodcastEpisode #HealingJourney #SelfWorth #PersonalGrowth #FaithAndHealing #Boundaries #RealConversations

Equally Yoked: Are We Using Scripture or Just Quoting It?

Equally Yoked: Are We Using Scripture or Just Quoting It? Everybody says they want someone who is equally yoked. But do we really understand what that means? In this episode, we're going beyond the familiar phrase and getting back to the Word. We're breaking down 2 Corinthians 6:14, exploring the biblical context, and having an honest conversation about what being equally yoked looks like in real-life relationships. Does being equally yoked simply mean believing in God? Does it mean having the same personality, lifestyle, or financial status? Or is it about something deeper? We'll explore the difference between shared faith and shared direction, why character matters just as much as what someone claims to believe, and how we sometimes use Scripture to justify our preferences instead of allowing the Word to challenge us. We'll also discuss common misconceptions, the importance of accountability, and why loving someone doesn't automatically mean you're compatible. Most importantly, this conversation isn't about judging someone else's relationship. It's about examining ourselves, understanding Scripture in context, and learning to approach relationships with wisdom, honesty, and discernment. Because quoting the Word is one thing. Understanding it and applying it responsibly is another. The question is: Are we actually walking in the same direction, or are we just hoping love will somehow get us there? Let's talk about it. #EquallyYoked #FaithAndRelationships #ChristianPodcast #BiblicalWisdom #RelationshipTalk
