Is Your Heart Truly Pure? The Hidden Danger of Lust

Send us Fan Mail Is Your Heart Truly Pure? The Hidden Danger of Lust | Matthew 5:27-32 | Sermon on the Mount Episode 4 Is your heart truly pure, or is there a hidden fire burning in secret that no one else can see? In Episode 4 of our Sermon on the Mount series, we confront one of the most dangerous and most ignored sins of our generation: lust. Jesus did not stop at the outward act. He went straight to the heart and said, "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart" (Matthew 5:28, NIV). In this powerful and convicting message from Matthew 5:27-32, you will discover why lust is far more than a passing thought, how it quietly destroys marriages, ministries, and destinies, and why Jesus used such strong language about cutting off whatever causes us to stumble. This is not a sermon of condemnation. It is a call to freedom, holiness, and a heart that sees God, for Jesus promised, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God" (Matthew 5:8, NIV). In this sermon you will learn what Jesus really meant when He spoke about adultery of the heart. You will see how lust begins with the eyes and grows into bondage. You will understand the eternal seriousness of sin and why radical obedience matters. You will hear what Jesus taught about marriage, faithfulness, and divorce. Above all, you will discover how to receive forgiveness, cleansing, and lasting victory through the blood of Jesus Christ. If you are struggling with pornography, sexual temptation, impure thoughts, or hidden sin, there is hope for you today. The Word of God declares, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9, NIV). Make this your prayer with David: "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10, NIV). Watch to the end, pray along with us, and let the Holy Spirit do a deep cleansing work in your heart. Jesus Looks Beyond Outward Righteousness

Send us Fan Mail Can a person look righteous on the outside while their heart remains far from God? In this powerful message from the Sermon on the Mount, Dr. Gabriel Oluwakotanmi explores Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 5:17–26 and shows why God looks beyond religious appearances to the heart. Jesus did not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets, but to fulfill them. He calls His followers to a righteousness that reaches deeper than outward performance—a life marked by truth, obedience, reconciliation, and a heart being transformed by God. This sermon confronts anger, hypocrisy, and the danger of relying on appearances while resisting the work of Christ within us. Let the words of Jesus examine your heart: Are you merely appearing righteous, or are you surrendering your life to the Lord? Watch, reflect, and share this message with someone who needs to hear the truth of God’s Word. May the Lord lead us to repentance, reconciliation, and genuine obedience through Jesus Christ. Salt and Light: Is Your Faith Visible? | Matthew 5:13-16 Sermon | Sermon on the Mount

Send us Fan Mail Salt and Light: Is Your Faith Visible? | Matthew 5:13-16 Sermon | Sermon on the Mount Episode 2 Is your faith visible to the people closest to you? In this powerful Gospel sermon on Matthew 5:13-16, Evangelist Dr. Gabriel Oluwakotanmi of Faith Wallet Global Gospel Ministries explains what Jesus meant when He said, "You are the salt of the earth" and "You are the light of the world." This is Episode 2 of our Sermon on the Mount Bible study series on the Faith Hour. Life runs on expectations. We expect a light bulb to shine and food to carry flavor, so what does Jesus Christ expect from you? In this message you will discover why Jesus called His followers salt and not sugar, what it means for salt to lose its saltiness, and why the greatest threat to the Christian is not persecution from outside but losing our distinctiveness in a decaying world. As Jesus said in Matthew 5:13, "If the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?" You will also learn how to be the light of the world through the picture of a city on a hill that cannot be hidden and a lamp that must never be placed under a bowl. Many believers hide their faith under the bowl of fear, embarrassment, busyness, and the desire for approval. Jesus calls us to let our light shine before others, that they may see our good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). This sermon answers important questions every Christian should ask: How can I be salt and light in my workplace, home, and community? Can my family and coworkers tell that I belong to Jesus? How do good works relate to salvation by grace through faith? The message points every listener to Jesus Christ, the true Light of the world (John 8:12), and invites anyone who has never surrendered to Him to receive His forgiveness today (Romans 10:9). Scriptures in this message: Matthew 5:13-16, Mark 9:50, John 17:15, Romans 12:2, Colossians 4:6, Ephesians 2:8-10, John 3:19, John 8:12, 2 Corinthians 4:6, Ephesians 5:8, 1 Peter 2:9, John 1:5, Philippians 2:15, James 1:22, Matthew 7:24, Romans 10:9. Send us Fan Mail Who is truly blessed according to Jesus? In this powerful sermon on the Beatitudes from Matthew 5:1–12, Evangelist Dr. Gabriel Oluwakotanmi explores the heart, character, and priorities of those who belong to the Kingdom of God. The world celebrates wealth, power, popularity, and pride. Jesus declares blessings upon the poor in spirit, those who mourn, the meek, the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers, and those persecuted because of righteousness. Whose definition of blessing are you living by? In this message from our Sermon on the Mount series, discover: • What the Beatitudes mean and how they apply to your daily life.  • Why humility, repentance, and hunger for righteousness matter.  • How mercy, purity, and peacemaking reflect the character of Christ.  • Why suffering for Jesus does not mean God has abandoned you.  • How to respond to Jesus with faith, obedience, and a surrendered heart. God’s blessing cannot be measured by possessions alone. These words of Jesus confront our pride, expose our misplaced priorities, and call us to follow Him. I AM THE TRUE VINE | Connected to Christ or Headed for Disaster?

Send us Fan Mail I AM THE TRUE VINE | Connected to Christ or Headed for Disaster? Can a branch survive after being disconnected from the vine? Can a life produce godly fruit while separated from Jesus Christ? In John 15:1–8, Jesus gives a sobering declaration: “I am the true vine.” He warns us that apart from Him, we can do nothing of eternal value. A person may be religious, successful, admired, and surrounded by material possessions, yet remain spiritually barren because there is no living connection with Christ. Sin promises freedom but produces separation. Separation produces spiritual dryness. Spiritual dryness produces decay—and continued rejection of Christ ends in judgment. In this fiery and Christ-centered message, Evangelist Dr. Gabriel Oluwakotanmi explains: • What it means for Jesus to be the True Vine  • Why every person must remain connected to Christ  • How sin and disobedience weaken our spiritual lives  • The difference between religious activity and genuine fruitfulness  • Why God prunes those who belong to Him  • The spiritual fruit that proves a living relationship with Jesus  • The danger of claiming Christ while refusing to obey Him  • How repentance restores fellowship, fruitfulness, and spiritual vitality Jesus declared in John 15:5: “Apart from me you can do nothing.” Education cannot replace Christ. Wealth cannot replace Christ. Religion cannot replace Christ. Human achievement cannot replace Christ. Without Jesus, we may appear alive before people while remaining spiritually dead before God. Are you truly connected to Jesus Christ? Is your life producing the fruit of repentance, obedience, holiness, love, and righteousness? Or are you protecting habits that are choking your spiritual life? Some habits must die because the fruit of Christ cannot grow where the weeds of sin are deliberately protected. God’s grace does not excuse spiritual barrenness; it calls us to repentance, transformation, and fruitful living. This message is part of the Seven “I AM” Declarations of Jesus Christ series on Faith Hour. Watch prayerfully, examine your life honestly, and return wholeheartedly to Jesus Christ—the True Vine and the only source of eternal life.
