His career with the Grateful Dead lasted from 1965 to 1972 which was cut short due to his debilitating alcoholism.     This multipart series Jay discusses the life and musical career of Christine Carol Newby aka Cosey Fanni Tutti. One of the founding members of industrial band Throbbing Gristle. Born in 1951, we follow her upbringing and exposure to the Swinging London music scene of the early to mid 1960’s. Then the height of Beatlemania, she also enjoys LSD and Pink Floyd. Eventually meeting other like minded artists and creates an art movement called COUM. Listen and find out more in this wild and chaotic ride where music and art is as important as life itself.     1972 Cosey Fanni Tutti’s art group COUM get invited to perform at the Fanfare for Europe Festival, which landmarked Great Britain joining the European Union. While constantly busy with art projects and musical shows in between she is threatened by skinheads and also manages time rescue and adopt stray animals. Nothing seems to deter Cosey from finding a sense of fulfillment and freedom through her artwork.     Jay dives into the story of Oasis, starting with the mother of Liam and Noel Gallagher, who was born into poverty, in Ireland. After moving to England, the boys were born in Manchester. Growing up with a loving mother but with an abusive father, the boys discovered music as an escape. As they got older, Noel became a roadie for The Inspiral Carpets and Liam started a Beatles influenced band called Rain.
