COMPLETING WITH BEATE KUHN

COMPLETING WITH BEATE KUHN – Where real life meets real capital. There's a moment that comes for certain women. Not when everything falls apart, but when everything shifts. When the life you built, carefully, seriously, with real money and real decisions behind it, starts asking you to become someone slightly different to carry it forward. A marriage ends. An inheritance lands. A business changes shape. A border gets crossed. A chapter closes and another one opens, and suddenly you're holding more than you expected, in every sense of the word. That's where this podcast lives. I'm Beate Kuhn, ex-banker, investor, and psychological counsellor. For over two decades I've worked at the place most people don't know how to occupy: where capital structure meets inner structure. Where the financial decision and the identity question are actually the same question. Completing is for women who are already serious. Already resourced. Already capable. And who are in the middle of something that requires more than a strategy, it requires a complete reorganisation of how you see yourself, what you're willing to hold, and how you move with what you have. We talk about money here. We also talk about the nervous system patterns that show up the moment real decisions are involved. The identity shifts that happen when you step into sovereign financial leadership, maybe for the first time, maybe again, after life rearranged everything. The difference between over-researching and actually deciding. Between executing from clarity and executing from adrenaline. This is not a podcast about getting wealthy. It's a podcast about what it takes to hold wealth, and a whole life, while everything is being restructured around you. No hype. No performance. No hustle narratives. Just honest conversations for women who are already in it. Welcome. I'm glad you found this. Enjoy, with love Beate

The Weight of Being the Reliable One

Have you ever noticed that the more capable you become, the less people ask how you're doing? This episode came from me reflecting on what it means to be "the reliable one"—the person everyone trusts, the one who figures things out, carries the responsibility, and somehow always makes it work. For a long time, I wore that as a badge of honour. But lately I've been wondering… at what point does being reliable stop being a strength and start becoming an identity we never question? In this conversation, I'm sharing my own thoughts on why so many capable women end up carrying more than they need to, why support can feel so unfamiliar, and why I've started valuing reciprocity over proving how much I can handle. If you've ever felt like everyone leans on you, but very few people think to ask what you might need, I think you'll feel seen in this episode. The Homelessness of Transition

Lately, I've caught myself thinking, "I just want to go home." And then I realized… I wasn't even sure where home was anymore. That moment opened up something I hadn't really put into words before. In this episode, I'm sharing what this season of transition has been teaching me. About leaving a life emotionally before you've left it physically. About the strange loneliness of being between chapters. And about why feeling unsettled doesn't always mean something is wrong, it might simply mean you're growing into your next version. I also share how my own idea of "home" is changing, and why I'm learning that it's less about an address and more about the life we're creating, wherever we are. If you're in that in-between space too, where the old no longer feels like you, but the new hasn't fully arrived yet, I hope this episode feels like someone sitting beside you saying, "I know this place. You're not alone." The Shame of Not Knowing

One of the biggest barriers to making good financial decisions during divorce isn't a lack of knowledge—it's the belief that you should already know. In this episode, Beate explores why so many intelligent, capable women stay quiet when they don't understand financial or legal conversations, and how that silence can become a financial risk. She shares a simple shift in perspective that makes it easier to ask questions, slow decisions down, and stay confidently involved in your own financial future. In this episode: Why "I should know this already" is holding you back. How shame affects financial decisions. Why asking questions is a strength, not a weakness.Three practical permissions to take into every meeting with advisers, solicitors or banks.Because you don't need to know everything—you just need to stay in the conversation. She Didn't Know She Knew

The women who arrive convinced they know nothing about money are usually wrong. Not because they've been studying it quietly, but because the capability was always there — assigned elsewhere by a structure that no longer exists. In this episode, Beate explores structural deference: the rational, logical outcome of a division of labour that made sense inside a marriage and becomes invisible until the marriage ends. Through client stories and her own observations, she makes the case that what most women in restructure are missing is not financial intelligence, it's the experience of applying the financial intelligence they already have. The surprise of competence is real. And it arrives faster than anyone expects. You'll hear: Why deference looks like incapacity but never wasThe difference between not knowing and not trusting — and why that distinction changes everythingWhat it actually looks like when dormant capability wakes upWhy handing power to whoever seems most confident in the room is the most expensive habit in a restructure See you soon With love from Mallorca Beate _____________________________________________________________ --> Follow me on Instagram --> Receive my Investor Identity Map and see: Which Identity ist currently running your financial decisionsWhy ist was formedWhat shifts you into investor precision. The End of Endurance

For much of my life, endurance felt like one of my greatest strengths—the ability to keep going, adapt, rebuild, and carry uncertainty. But what happens when the thing that helped you survive no longer fits the person you're becoming? In this personal episode, I reflect on leaving a business partnership, selling my home, turning 54, and the difference between loss and completion. We explore why resilience can sometimes hide misalignment, and how life eventually stops asking, "Can you carry this?" and starts asking, "Do you still want to?" If you're navigating an ending, a transition, or a quiet inner knowing that something is complete, this conversation is for you. Reflection Question: What am I finally ready to complete? The Same Moment

There's a moment almost every woman I work with describes to me. Usually early on. Often with relief that someone is finally naming it. The marriage ends. The house sells. And suddenly there's a six figure sum in her account, entirely hers, for the first time. At exactly the same moment she's asking herself who she is now. Not two problems. One experience. And when you try to solve them separately, something always gets missed. This episode is about what's really happening in that moment, why the practical and the personal can't be held apart, and what it actually looks like to move through both at the same time. If you've ever felt like you should be more sorted than you are, this one is for you. Why I don't have to be finished to guide you through this

There's a belief that runs deep in the coaching and mentoring world — that you earn the right to guide someone through something by finishing it first. By conquering the mountain, coming out the other side, and calling back from somewhere safe. Beate pushes back on that. Clearly, and with good reason. In this episode she makes the case for a different kind of credibility — the kind that comes from still being in relationship with the terrain. From knowing where the path gets narrow, where most people lose their footing, and how to keep going anyway. Not because she read about it. Because she's felt it herself, more than once. She also unpacks why the "master first, teach later" model, as responsible as it sounds, may actually serve no one when the work involves restructuring a life, restructuring capital, and restructuring identity all at once. And she speaks directly to the woman who is waiting to feel ready before she moves. The one who believes clarity is a prerequisite rather than a result. In this episode: Why terrain knowledge is a more honest credential than completionThe mastery myth and why a finish line doesn't exist for this kind of workWhat Beate actually brings to this space — and why still being in it is the pointThe readiness trap, and what to do instead See you soon With love from Mallorca Beate _____________________________________________________________ --> Follow me on Instagram --> Receive my Investor Identity Map and see: Which Identity ist currently running your financial decisionsWhy ist was formedWhat shifts you into investor precision.
