New! When Anxiety Comes Back: You Haven’t Lost Your Progress

October is Mental Health Month, and this episode of Zero Stress is dedicated to anyone living and working with anxiety, or navigating other mental health challenges that may not always be visible to the people around them. Sometimes progress feels clear. We feel stronger, calmer and more capable of doing the things that once frightened us. And sometimes, unexpectedly, we find ourselves struggling again. But a difficult day doesn’t erase the progress you’ve made. Finding yourself in an old place doesn’t mean you’ve gone all the way back. The journey isn’t always a straight line, sometimes it zigzags, sometimes we pause, and sometimes simply continuing is an act of courage. In this special episode, Phoebe shares an original poem, “Still, You Continue,” for anyone who might need a little encouragement to keep going through the harder days. 🌿 Join the Zero Stress Monthly Reset — 11 October, 8:30 pm Sydney time If you’d like some space to slow down, breathe and reconnect with yourself, you’re warmly invited to join our next Zero Stress Monthly Reset on 11 October at 8:30 pm Sydney time. We’ll spend some quiet time together with gentle stretching, movement and meditation. There’s nothing to achieve and no pressure to perform, just an opportunity to step away from everything else for a little while and reset. 👉 Register here https://events.humanitix.com/zero-stress Wherever you are in your own journey, I hope this episode reminds you: A hard day does not erase a thousand brave ones. Zero Stress EPS 33 The Hidden Cost of Trying to Fit In: Neurodivergence at Work

🌿 Join the Zero Stress Monthly Reset - Life can get busy, and sometimes we don’t realise how much we’ve been carrying until we finally stop for a moment. On the first Sunday evening of every month at 8:30 pm AEST, you’re invited to join the Zero Stress Monthly Reset — a gentle online space to pause, breathe and reconnect with yourself. Through simple stretching and meditation, we’ll step away from the noise for a while and create a little room to rest and reset. No experience is needed. No expectations. Just bring yourself and take the time you need. 👉 Save your place for the next Monthly Reset: https://events.humanitix.com/zero-stress I’d love to see you there. Episode Summary: What does it take to thrive in a fast-moving, high-pressure industry when your mind works differently? In this episode of Zero Stress, I revisit a conversation originally recorded for SaaS Trailblazers with my guest Sara Storm about neurodivergence, mental health, and the realities of working in the SaaS industry (i.e. software as a service). We explore why open conversations about neurodivergence and mental health matter, the unique strengths neurodivergent professionals can bring to the workplace, and some of the challenges they may experience in environments built around particular expectations of communication, productivity and performance. We also look beyond the individual. Instead of asking people to constantly adapt themselves to fit the workplace, what can leaders and organisations do to create environments where different kinds of minds can genuinely thrive? Sara shares her perspective on workplace inclusion, leadership, career development, burnout and the importance of creating space for people to work in ways that bring out their best. Although our conversation focuses on SaaS, its message extends far beyond the tech industry. It is a conversation about understanding differences, questioning our assumptions about what a “good” employee looks like, and creating healthier ways of working for all of us. Whether you’re neurodivergent yourself, manage or work alongside neurodivergent colleagues, or simply want to help build a more human and inclusive workplace, I hope this conversation gives you something to reflect on.

Zero Stress EPS 32 Why Your Best Ideas Come When You Stop Trying

🌿 Join the Zero Stress Monthly Reset - If you’d like to create a little more space for yourself, you’re warmly invited to join me for the Zero Stress Monthly Reset, held on the first Sunday evening of each month at 8:30 pm AEST. It’s a gentle online session where we slow things down together with gentle stretching and meditation. No pressure, no need to perform—just some time to step away from everything else and reset. 👉 Register the monthly session here: https://events.humanitix.com/zero-stress I’d love to have you there. Episode Summary: Sometimes, working harder is exactly what keeps us stuck. Have you ever spent weeks, or even months, trying to solve a problem, only for the answer to suddenly appear while you’re on a road trip, taking a walk, enjoying a weekend away, or doing something completely unrelated? In this episode of Zero Stress, I explore why this happens and why stepping away isn’t necessarily time away from solving the problem, it can actually be an important part of the process. We’ll talk about focused thinking versus giving our minds space to wander, why a change of environment can shift our perspective, and why rest, nature, road trips and seemingly “unproductive” moments can sometimes lead to our most useful ideas. If you’ve been pushing hard at something and still feel stuck, perhaps the answer isn’t to push even harder. Perhaps it’s time to step away for a little while.

Zero Stress EPS 27 How to Build Healthy Boundaries Featuring Niluka Kavanagh

In this episode, I’m joined by Niluka to explore the power of healthy boundaries — what they are, why they matter, and how they can transform the way we show up in our lives and work. Niluka is the Founder of ImagineThat - The Business School for Nomadic Entrepreneurs.  ImagineThat aims to connect online founders globally and help others start an online services business.  After graduating from Oxford University, Niluka began her career in consulting at KPMG UK in London, working with global brands including Tesco, Mastercard and The London Stock Exchange.  Nearly 5 years later, she wanted more and decided to embark on an experiment - is it possible to work for yourself and work from anywhere? During this time, Niluka worked on 2 of her own businesses fully remote while living across the world, including Valencia, Lisbon, Chiang Mai, Istanbul and Da Nang. One of her businesses was in public speaking (helping over 500 people online improve their presenting skills) and the other was a tech start-up which she took to market.  She saw that it IS possible to work for herself and have location freedom - and saw other professionals like her wanting to do the same, but not knowing how to begin a location-independent business.   This led her to create ImagineThat, which helps people start their own high-profit online coaching, consulting or services business.  Want to connect with others and join the community?
