Celebrity Traitors EP. 2 - Digging Your Own Grave

Celebrity Traitors continues, and Richard E. Grant is not doing anything to help his precarious position ahead of the first round table. Hannah and Benedict dive deep on episode two, from the biggest graveyard in Traitor’s history to the most teeth you’ve ever seen in one man’s mouth (we love you Rob Beckett). They discuss blurred watches, frantic faithful theories and whether Ross Kemp can - literally - dig himself out of the hole of suspicion. P.S - What has the BBC done for Romesh? This episode contains spoilers for Celebrity Traitors episode two. Send your thoughts and predictions to townsends@global.com. Subscribe for two episodes a week and extra Traitors episodes recorded on the night! Talk of the Townsends is a Global Production. Celebrity Traitors EP. 1 - What is Richard E. Grant DOING?!

Celebrity Traitors is back, and Richard E. Grant has already told everyone he’s a Traitor. Hannah and Benedict unpack an eventful first episode, from Claudia’s coffin entrance to the confession nobody quite knows what to do with. They discuss Richard’s partnership with Maya Jama, why Ross Kemp won’t let anyone near him and James Blunt’s unusually flattering portrait. Plus, with James Acaster and Amol Rajan making their case to join the Traitors, who’s staying and who’s going? Hannah has a theory. This episode contains spoilers for Celebrity Traitors episode one, plus a clearly signposted discussion of press coverage that could hint at what happens next. Send your thoughts and predictions to townsends@global.com. Subscribe for two episodes a week and extra Traitors episodes recorded on the night! Daisy Edgar-Jones & George McKay on the risk of book to screen

With Sense and Sensibility in cinemas, Hannah and Benedict take a closer look at what makes an adaptation work, and when sticking to the book might be the problem. From The Lord of the Rings to The Hunger Games, they discuss your favourite adaptations, the changes worth making and why capturing the feeling of a book matters more than including every detail. They also chat to Sense and Sensibility stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and George MacKay about bringing a beloved book to the screen, feeling too modern in a period drama and whether yearning is overrated. What’s your favourite adaptation? And what would you like us to take a deep dive into next? Email townsends@global.com. Watch and listen on Global Player, YouTube and wherever you get your podcasts.
