Formally of, At The Gates of Pop Culture, With Rareeddie1. Still the same great podcast with me, Rareeddie1. Same format, the same humour, and poking more fun at the woke entertainment industry. The ongoing battle between "woke" players, big studios, shady producers, and major corporations trying to buy pop culture influence, has turned into a culture war. On one side, there are people like us who just care about good stories, without the influence of tick-box agendas being forced upon us through films, pop culture, comics, video games, and more. On the other side, bad actors are trying to influence everything we enjoy and consume, while we just want to be entertained. As entertainers, we should be able to escape the daily grind of politics, but unfortunately, we are constantly being pushed with political agendas from the minute we wake up to the minute we go to bed. Some of us just want to enjoy a good story without any political influence, but when creators say things like "If you don't like my politics, don't buy my book," it's frustrating, Enough Already let’s try and tear it down from the outside of the Gates. Let's go!

hEaD PoP #80, British Food Wars, Flags Humble Me, Frieren's Magic & The Boys Finale

Serving hot takes hotter than a Sunday roast and about as controversial as ranking one. Welcome to hEaD Pop Episode 80! This week I'm diving fork-first into the Great British Meals War as I rank some of Britain's most iconic dishes in a no-holds-barred tier list battle. Will fish and chips defend its crown? Will the mighty Sunday roast steamroll the competition? Or will a dark horse emerge from the gravy-covered shadows to claim victory? There can only be one champion! Next, I put my geography skills, or lack thereof, to the test with a world flags tier list quiz. What started as a fun little challenge quickly became a humbling reminder that the world is a big, beautiful place filled with fascinating countries... and flags that all seem suspiciously designed to make me look silly on camera. Then it's time to journey into the incredible world of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. A show packed with adventure, emotion, laughter, regret and some genuinely beautiful storytelling. From epic magical encounters to quiet moments that hit right in the feelings, this series kept me hooked episode after episode and reminded me why great storytelling can leave such a lasting impact. After that, I take a look at The Mandalorian & Grogu and ask the question many fans seem to be asking: can this be the project that gets Star Wars back on course, or is Disney preparing another expensive lesson in how not to steer a galaxy far, far away? Grogu is adorable, Din Djarin is cool, but even Baby Yoda can't carry an entire franchise in his tiny little space pram forever. Finally, I wrap things up with The Boys. What did I make of the latest season? Did it deliver the outrageous action, shocking moments and dark humour the series is known for, or did it leave me feeling a little underwhelmed? Whether you loved it or thought it was just okay, there's plenty to discuss. S o grab your favourite snack, get comfortable and join me for another episode packed with laughs, hot takes, tier lists, pop culture chaos and the occasional complete lack of flag knowledge. Sit back, relax and enjoy hEaD Pop Episode 80! 🎙️🍿

Episode #78, One Punch Man Season 3 HYPE & Episode 1, The Smashing Machine review, and The Rock delivers actual acting, Box Office Drama, Tron, Ares struggle, #RIPdoctorWho, and 90s cartoons Tier List & Tucker’s infamous tear list TIER LIST CARNAGE! A huge Thank you to Tyler W K, Big R and Chris T, hEaD Pop Legends! Welcome back to hEaD PoP – Where Sanity Takes a Backseat and Pop Culture Gets Body-Slammed. We’re asking the big questions this week: Is Nintendo okay? Should Snow White start a GoFundMe? In this episode, we’re diving headfirst into the chaos: One Punch Man Season 3, Is it a glorious comeback or just another punch in the gut after Season 2? The Smashing Machine, The Rock delivers actual acting (yes, you read that right). Mark Kerr might just be his best role yet, and we’re not kidding when we say “Oscar-worthy.” Tron: Ares, the opposite of The Rock’s performance. No spark, no soul, no point. We wanted neon glory; we got a reboot with the emotional depth of a loading screen. And finally, we’re ranking the ultimate 90s cartoons, a nostalgia-fueled war zone of opinions, childhood memories, and pure chaos. (Also featuring Tucker, who has triggered the host beyond belief. You’ll understand soon enough.) Grab your snacks, hold onto your nostalgia, and prepare for takes hotter than a malfunctioning GPU. Also checking in with Tucker’s lists to see if either of us has managed to emotionally scar the other. (Spoiler: probably yes.) Plus, we aim for Tucker’s tier list of questionable life choices (okay, maybe just games). And we’re gearing up for next week’s legendary Tier List Maker throwdown, and yes, your hot takes are invited. It’s snark, speculation, and cinematic mayhem all topped off with just enough sarcasm to make you wonder if we actually like anything. This is hEaD Pop, where nostalgia, anime hype, gaming redemption arcs, and sarcastic chaos collide. Buckle up. This isn’t just a podcast, it’s a brain-melting, heart-thumping, mushroom-powered joyride through the madness of our times. All this, plus tangents, sarcasm, and enough pop culture snark to fill a Lego Death Star. This isn’t just a podcast, it’s the gladiator arena of pop culture, where movies are judged, studios are mocked, and only the strong franchises survive. Strap in. All this, and a pop-culture-fueled rollercoaster of sarcasm, screaming, and suspiciously strong opinions, only on hEaD Pop. Because if your head's not popping, are you even paying attention? It’s a pop culture demolition derby. A rollercoaster of unfiltered opinions, cinematic rants, and emotional breakfast debates. Hit follow on your podcast app of choice. Episode #77, One Punch Man Season 3 HYPE & Rumours, Alpha Core #2, The Rock & The Smashing Machine, Box Office Drama, #RIPdoctorWho, and 80s cartoons Tier List & Tucker’s infamous tear list TIER LIST CARNAGE! In this week’s hEaD Pop, we’re dodging spoilers faster than Saitama dodges punches as we dive into One Punch Man Season 3 — when’s it dropping, who’s getting obliterated, and can it possibly redeem the lukewarm ramen that was Season 2? Then we crack open the Rippaverse with Alpha Core #2 — preorder now if you want a front-row seat to the battle for Florespark (and yes, it’s as metal as it sounds). Next up, we tag in The Rock, who’s trading the ring for drama in The Smashing Machine. It’s getting Oscar buzz, but the box office says, “maybe next time, champ.” Plus, we check in with the weekly box office carnage — who crushed it, who flopped harder than a bad sequel, and why people are still watching that one movie no one admits to liking. And to top it all off, we’re ranking 80s cartoons in the ultimate Tiermaker showdown. Someone’s favorite childhood show is getting wrecked, and we’re okay with that. 🎧 Grab your snacks, brace your nostalgia, and pop that head with us — it’s hEaD Pop time! This isn’t just a podcast, it’s a brain-melting, heart-thumping, mushroom-powered joyride through the madness of our times. Episode #76, My Hero Academia Season 8 Rumours, Box Office Drama, Star Wars: The Acolyte, #RIPdoctorWho, The Mandalorian & Grogu Movie, and 90s Action Movies Tier List & Tucker’s infamous tear list TIER LIST CARNAGE! Tonight’s episode is packed tighter than All Might’s spandex suit: My Hero Academia Season 8, What’s the release date? Will it hit Japan and the West at the same time, or will we be left crying into our Funko Pops? Star Wars: The Acolyte, Remember when Disney thought dropping a casual $250 million would guarantee a hit? Yeah… about that. We’ll break down the collapse, and why Season 2 is deader than Qui-Gon Jinn. The Mandalorian & Grogu Movie, Is Baby Yoda too cute to fail? Apparently not. We’re talking why this movie is getting roasted harder than Anakin on Mustafar. 90s Action Movie Tea Time, Will Tucker pop off again, or will we flip the script and trigger him this time? Either way, expect explosions, sarcasm, and probably way too many references to Die Hard. If you like anime meltdowns, Star Wars autopsies, and laughing at franchises setting their own money on fire, this is your episode. Also checking in with Tucker’s lists to see if either of us has managed to emotionally scar the other. (Spoiler: probably yes.) Welcome back to hEaD Pop, where common sense is dead, and we’re throwing the open-bar funeral party! Buckle up as we cannonball into the molten lava of modern pop culture, reporting live from the frontlines of the Great Pop Culture War™. On one side: billion-dollar studios armed with glitter, AI-generated diversity statements, and the world’s thirstiest PR teams. On the other? Us: the ragtag crew still clinging to the hope that storytelling might be allowed to be… you know, fun. This week on hEaD PoP, we dive headfirst into the chaos of football, film, video games, sci-fi disasters, and yes… a breakfast tier list that may destroy friendships. Here’s What’s Going Down on, This week on hEaD Pop, we’re blowing the roof off pop culture and politics in one caffeine-fueled detonation of opinions, hot takes, and unapologetic truth bombs. On this week’s hEaD Pop, we serve up a three-course meal of nerdy nonsense and cinematic chaos. First up: Delicious in Dungeon Season Two we dig through the rumors, speculation, and fan theories like starving adventurers in a kobold pantry. Then, we take a pit stop at the box office battlefield, crunching the numbers to see who’s winning, losing, or just limping along. Next: a quick detour into Doctor Who spinoff land because apparently the BBC still hasn’t gotten the memo that this franchise is less “timeless” and more “time’s up.” Finally, we crown a winner in the Tear Maker of all Tear Makers: 80s Action Films, while also checking in with Tucker’s lists to see if either of us has managed to emotionally scar the other. Episode #74, Mario hits the big 40, One Punch Man Season 3, Disney Drama, No Man’s Sky Wins, #RIPdoctorWho and Mob Movie films Tier List, Tucker’s infamous tear list TIER LIST CARNAGE! This week on hEaD Pop, we’re blowing the roof off pop culture and politics in one caffeine-fueled detonation of opinions, hot takes, and unapologetic truth bombs. The Mushroom Kingdom just turned middle-aged! That’s right, Mario is officially 40, and we’re throwing a pixel-packed birthday party for the world’s most famous plumber. From stomping Goombas to saving the princess (again, and again, and again…), Mario has carried Nintendo for four decades straight, and we’re here to honour the legend. But wait, we’re just getting started. One Punch Man Season 3 is coming, and hype levels are OVER 9000 (wrong anime, still accurate). Can Saitama keep punching our expectations into orbit? You bet. Meanwhile, Disney doubles down on its favourite boss fight: Dividing Fans With Corporate DEI™. Will the Mouse ever learn, or are they speedrunning self-destruction mode? Spoiler: it’s not looking good. And then… the comeback story no one saw coming. No Man’s Sky. A game once roasted harder than Mario’s Fire Flower, now reborn through update after update (all FREE, take notes, industry). Nine years later, this space epic is thriving, gorgeous, and actually fun. It’s the phoenix of gaming. Plus, we aim for Tucker’s tier list of questionable life choices (okay, maybe just games). And we’re gearing up for next week’s legendary Tier List Maker throwdown, and yes, your hot takes are invited. This week on hEaD PoP, we dive headfirst into the chaos of football, film, video games, sci-fi disasters, and yes… a breakfast tier list that may destroy friendships. Here’s What’s Going Down on, Tonight, we’re talking the future of The Orville: Will Seth MacFarlane keep captaining his space cruise, or is it drifting into cancellation space? Then, a depressing tour of the summer box office — where studios, cinemas, and movies themselves all decided to take a nap. We’ll ask: Can numbers ever go up again? (spoiler: probably not). Meanwhile, the woke mob has locked onto their latest final boss: Snoop Dogg. Why? Because he doesn’t want to go to the movies. Yes, that’s it. No, I don’t get it either. We’ll also ask if Doctor Who is actually coming back, or if BBC just ghosted the Doctor like a bad Tinder date. And to round things out, I’m ranking 90s horror movies — and trust me, you’ll be shocked which ones don’t suck. Grab your slippers, pour a hot drink, and let’s pop some heads.
