    S8E5: This Little Piggy

Josh and Mike break down Season 8, Episode 5 of Dexter: "This Little Piggy". Hide and seek once again plays a major role in this episode. Could it have SOMETHING to do with the MVPs and LVPs? The answer is perhaps. You'll just have to wait and see! Another notable parts of the episode include: Dexter and Deb deal with the fallout of Deb's attempted murder/suicide in the lake, Vogel gets stolen, the sad goth boy is apparently not a suspect, Claudia and Armando try to be helpful but ultimately contribute absolutely nothing, and Dexter discovers a new murder weapon. JAM PACKED EPISODE!! S8E4: Scar Tissue

Josh and Mike break down Season 8, Episode 4 of Dexter: "Scar Tissue". The brothers get introduced to many new characters in this episode -- some terrible (Nikki Masuka), some mediocre and twisted (AJ Yates), and some imaginative and wonderful (Dan, Calman, and Ed). If you aspire to be a newspaper delivery human, this is the episode for you!! Vogel goes for a joy ride on an elephant and HERE WE GO!!! S8E3: What's Eating Dexter Morgan?

Josh and Mike break down Season 8, Episode 3 of Dexter: "What's Eating Dexter Morgan?". It took us 85 episodes of Dexter, but we FINALLY have cannibalism. Whew - we thought we'd never get here, but we made it. In this 3rd installment of season 8, Deb gets arrested and deals with a whole new "jail" experience - dunk tanks. Also, do you have a good example of a great tagline for a cannibalistic murder? Whatever it is, it has to be better than Mike's. If you're up for trying shrimp cups, tune in and listen to the brothers make incredibly thoughtful points for 80 minutes. See you in there! S8E2: Every Silver Lining

Josh and Mike break down Season 8, Episode 2 of Dexter: "Every Silver Lining". After a long 3-month hiatus (Mike had a baby!), the brothers are finally back in full force. Vogel & Dexter team up to figure out who the "Brain Surgeon" killer could be, Deb is still struggling to be a person, and Sussy Mama's son dresses as a coat rack for Halloween. An entire bear is also an entire quilt. Also, a BHB favorite makes a return appearance in the backseat of a car and befriends a ponytail. This is all real. If you don't believe us, tune in to hear it! S8E1: A Beautiful Day

Josh and Mike break down Season 8, Episode 1 of Dexter: "A Beautiful Day". In the season 8 premiere, Josh and Mike lament the dangers of trying to wrap up a cult-following popular TV show like Dexter. How do you do it without causing a raucous? According to the brothers, Season 8 does fall a bit short, but we'll get there. Episode 1 introduces some new characters, including Dr. Evelyn Vogel, the "psychopath whisperer". Don't worry, everyone - the brothers completely leave her alone and take everything seriously. Everything. Also, if you're ever at a funeral and don't know how to process grief, find a bench. Tune in to the episode to find out WHAT YOU DO ON THAT BENCH! S7E12: Surprise Motherf*cker

Josh and Mike break down Season 7, Episode 12 of Dexter: "Surprise Motherf*cker!". In the season 7 finale, the brothers debate over whether or not the episode can compete with some of the top Dexter episodes of all time. Don't you hate when you have to get a location for a crime scene and the dispatch operator is drunk as a skunk? Well, what else would you expect on New Years' Eve?! An early season regular returns for some flashbacks, Angel learns a new word, Hannah "Houdinis" out of an impossible situation, and Hector eats bologna. BOLOGNA TIME. BOLOGNA TIME. Tune in to see how the brothers end Season 7 and who wins the SEASON MVP! Thanks for listening! S7E11: Do You See What I See?

Josh and Mike break down Season 7, Episode 11 of Dexter: "Do You See What I See?". The brothers analyze the history of penultimate episodes in the BHB universe. Also, can you just do me a quick favor and look down my pants to make sure everything's in order? Anyway, to recap the episode, Angel invites friends to snort drugs off his fedora, Quinn entertains patrons at the Foxy Hole with a song from his hometown, Elmer the Cop s***s the bed, and Hannah takes a huge risk which backfires dramatically. Only 2 of those 4 things are real. Can you guess which ones? Also, a new character joins the Dirty Debs quote archives! Finally, if you're curious about the formula for water, tune in to this episode. The brothers are happy you're here and hope you enjoy this penultimate episode! S7E10: The Dark...Whatever

Josh and Mike break down Season 7, Episode 10 of Dexter: "The Dark...Whatever". Hi Banana! The brothers break down the 10th installment of Season 7, spending a lot of new time with Clint McKay, Poopin' Betsy, and the Mike Tyson Kite. Only one of those 3 are real - bet you can't guess! Also, Angel develops a new skill in this episode (for those keeping track of Angel's talents). Meanwhile, other characters continue to tank in the MVP rankings (does anyone know what Quinn's deal is this season?!). In the actual episode, Dexter struggles to reconcile whether his dark passenger is fully in control of his darker urges. When I tell you that Bobby Flay plays a role in this dilemma, would you believe me? Enjoy the episode!
