I have listened to many horror review podcasts, and Scream Street by far is the most enjoyable, hilarious, and unique show I’ve listened to. These lifelong besties provide a detailed recapping of each film they review without sacrificing the banter and tangents that make them stand out as a podcast. Riley and Marissa have a long history together that provide for such interesting background and relatable anecdotes, so when they discuss a certain movie or character you are treated with a lovely personal take or a story from yesteryear. The way they build upon their lore and tie it in with the respective film they are discussing gives the show a personal and inviting feeling. As if you were in the room with them. Riley being a horror fan and Marissa not reminds me of conversations I’ve had with my sisters and friends and that is the kind of chemistry and dialogue that makes an amazing podcast. I’m so glad to have found you guys, and I’m very excited to see how far this show goes.

I’m currently listening to the latest episode on The Houses October Built. I’m almost halfway through and it seriously feels like the majority of the time has been spent on ridiculous tangents. Tighten up your show and focus on the film you’re covering. Good grief.

I am so glad I found this podcast. It’s fun to have the perspective of a horror fan and a horror non-fan. I am a huge horror fan and just like to hear people talk about horror movies. The chemistry between the hosts is great too. You can tell they are real friends. I want to vote to keep all the bad language and I need more thirst over the horror hotties ❤️ keep it up, this filled the void that Scream Girls left for me and I thank you!

Being a female who loves horror movies I really enjoyed your recap of the episode on The Decent I listened to today. I found your emotions relatable to the ones I had including empathizing for Juno at times. You ladies actually sent a request on IG and that’s how the podcast got on my radar. I’d love to see a rating scale incorporated in some fashion to gauge more accurately you girls felt about the movies.
