    The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

It is includes my testimony of when I received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Baptism in the Holy Spirit — Acts 1:1–8; 2:1–39 (May 24, 2026) The presentation walks through the narrative arc of Pentecost: from Jesus's post-resurrection instructions to wait for the Holy Spirit (Acts 1), through the dramatic arrival of the Spirit with wind, fire, and tongues (Acts 2:1–13), to Peter's sermon explaining the event as fulfillment of Joel's prophecy and proof of Christ's resurrection and exaltation. Peter's sermon anchors the theological argument: Jesus's life, death, and resurrection were part of God's definite plan; David prophetically foresaw the Christ who would not be abandoned to death; and the outpouring of the Spirit is evidence that the risen Jesus now reigns at God's right hand. The presentation culminates in a call to response — Peter's command to repent and be baptized, with the promise that the gift of the Holy Spirit extends to all whom God calls, across generations and geography.
