    Part b of Part 1 goes so much deeper!  Continue this journey with us into The Book of ACTS!!! The early church nearly fractured over one question, and it sounds uncomfortably familiar today: do new believers have to take on extra rules to really belong? We walk through Acts 15 as the Jerusalem Council wrestles with circumcision, the Law of Moses, and the flood of Gentiles coming to Jesus. What stands out is the way God settles the argument. Peter points to lived experience with the Holy Spirit, Paul and Barnabas bring reports of miracles and transformed lives, and James anchors it all in Scripture.     The world can feel loud, cruel, and unstable, and we start there with an honest moment of grief and prayer after heartbreaking loss in our community - Van Zandt County, Texas. We ask God to comfort families, steady our hearts, and remind us that even when the atmosphere feels heavy and election season feels divisive, the Lord is still in control. We also challenge ourselves to live what we pray, because faith is never meant to be passive.  After praying, Bro. Ernie continues the deep dive into The Book of ACTS.  What a powerful study for new testament believers! Then we open Scripture and work through Acts 15:1–11, where the early church faces a defining question: do Gentile believers need circumcision and the law of Moses to be saved? We trace circumcision back to God’s covenant with Abraham in Genesis 17, look at how the Old Testament treats the “stranger” who joins himself to the God of Israel, and talk about why unity matters when dissension starts fracturing the church. Along the way, we keep it simple and practical: stay in the Word, seek wise counsel, and refuse to let politics or tradition divide what Jesus died to make one.  Peter’s testimony becomes a powerful turning point.     Bro. Ernie continues taking us deeper into The Book of ACTS!!! Get your Bibles and notebooks ready! A crowd sees a real miracle and immediately tries to turn the messengers into gods. That’s the pressure point in Acts 14, and it’s where Paul and Barnabas show us what spiritual authority actually looks like: they refuse worship, they reject celebrity culture, and they push every ounce of glory back to the living God. We work verse by verse through Acts 14:14–28 and talk about why idolatry can sneak in through “good” moments like answered prayer, healing, and excitement. Paul’s message to the people of Lystra points to God as Creator, and we connect that to Romans 1 and the idea that creation itself is a constant witness. If you’ve ever wondered how to explain faith without getting pulled into arguments, this part is a grounding reminder to start with what God has already made obvious. Then the story turns hard fast: opposition shows up, Paul is stoned, and the mission continues.     We Experienced The Holy Land And It Changed Us Forever

    Sis. Diahanna and Sis. Anne headed out to a prayer event in Israel October 7, 2026 and we were forever changed.  Sis. Audia shares some of her experiences in Israel from 6 years ago.  Listen to our story below. The news can make Israel feel like a headline you scroll past, but standing in the land changes what you think you know. We’re sharing our Israel travel testimony the real way, with the sore feet, the tight flight seats, the safety questions our families asked, and the moments where worship and prayer felt louder than fear. We talk through the journey with Friends of Zion, including why we went around the October 7th anniversary of the hamas massacre and the 24-hour prayer focus for the Peace of Jerusalem. From the Sea of Galilee to the Mount of Olives, we describe how Bible sites like Capernaum and Gethsemane brought Scripture into sharper focus. We also walk you through what it felt like to pray at the Western Wall, place written prayer requests into the stones, and keep praying even when the noise and tension around the Old City reminded us that this region is never spiritually “quiet.” Then we slow down for the heavy parts. Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum, left us shaken, especially the exhibits that make denial impossible to entertain. At Nova, the October 7th music festival massacre site, the faces, the artifacts, and a survivor’s firsthand story turned grief into something personal we had to carry in prayer.     A Cross Country Mission Trip To The Crow Reservation - August, 2026

Anne as we tell about our journey in the Summer of 2026. 3,846 miles in a rental car will test your patience and your posture, but it can also turn into a rolling altar. We sit around the table and tell the full story of our August mission trip from Forney, Texas to the Crow Reservation with as a Crow Flies Ministries, led by Sister Beth Landrum. From family dinner in Rio Rancho to the red rock views in Moab, every stop becomes a reminder that God is not limited by state lines, schedules, or “perfect conditions.”  Yellowstone National Park gives us one of those only-God moments. We talk about Old Faithful, the wonder of creation, and a sweet huckleberry memory that takes us right back to childhood. Then we share the bison encounter that still makes us laugh and tear up, because it felt like God answering a simple request in the most personal way possible.  Once we arrive on the Crow Reservation, the tone deepens. We walk through the women’s conference, the power of one-on-one prayer, and why we believe deliverance ministry and spiritual warfare are still relevant for believers who love Jesus but feel stuck. We also speak honestly about the poverty and lack of basic utilities many families face on the reservation, and why compassion has to be more than a slogan.  We end with the unexpected detours that became ministry too: a Catholic church breakfast conversation about demons, praying for bikers headed to Sturgis, a night at Mount Rushmore, and a Cody laundromat that turns into a prayer line.     Part "b" goes even deeper!!!  Hold on!!! Jesus tells the Samaritan woman at the well that he can give “living water” and that single phrase opens a trail that runs through the whole Bible. Around the table, we dig into the Gospel of John chapter 4 and ask the question behind the question: what did “living water” mean in Israel’s world, and why would Jesus expect it to land with spiritual weight instead of sounding like a riddle? We track the image back into the Old Testament, starting with Leviticus and the role of running water in cleansing, then moving through Song of Solomon where living waters become a picture of covenant love that brings life. Isaiah 12 pulls the thread tight by linking water to salvation, giving real context to what Jesus offers at the well. Along the way we talk about what it means to contemplate Christ, why water and blood show up together as a picture of thorough cleansing, and how faith is meant to be a flowing source rather than a one-time moment. Jeremiah confronts us with the hard contrast: God calls himself the fountain of living waters, yet we keep digging broken cisterns that cannot hold what our souls actually need. Ezekiel 47 and Zechariah 14 expand the vision into a river that heals whatever it touches, and we close with Jesus’ words in John 7 about rivers of living water flowing out of believers, pointing straight to the Holy Spirit and a life that spills over into mercy, compassion, and witness.     Bro. Ernie continues taking us deeper into The Gospel of St. John!  Get ready!!! Jesus doesn’t drift into John 4, he aims for it. When the pressure rises and the Pharisees take notice, we watch Jesus leave Judea and choose a route most people avoided: straight through Samaria. That one decision forces a bigger question for all of us: what does God do on purpose that we keep calling “coincidence”? Around the table, we connect John the Baptist’s words to the Old Testament’s bridegroom covenant language in Jeremiah, Hosea, and Isaiah, then slow-walk John 4:1–10 with practical, plainspoken Bible study. We unpack why Jews and Samaritans had no dealings, tracing the Samaritan story through 2 Kings 17 and the long fallout of mixed worship. When Jesus sits at Jacob’s well at the sixth hour, tired and thirsty, we don’t rush past it. The humanity of Jesus matters, and it sets the stage for a shockingly respectful conversation with a Samaritan woman who shows up alone at noon. Then the phrase hits: “living water.” We end with the tension it creates and the promise it holds, and we also take a listener question that opens up a strong Acts 19 thread on John’s baptism, baptism in Jesus’ name, and receiving the Holy Ghost.
