Roach Nomads S*itting and Laughing in the Socialist Sewers

Another egg of the Scroll — a comedy chamber. Autofiction, or autofact, depending on whether you have ever had to fact-check a rumor before you could rest. Mississippi Delta's 666 is an append-only scroll: a mythological modern tragic comedy told in "eggs," each its own chamber, read aloud. A disbarred Roach Lawyer falls out of the priced world and down through the grate into the last commons left — the sewer, where the word on the street becomes the word in the pipe. Down there the Maggots are Saints, the bartender is a Transformer who weighs every crawler without pricing him, and the law, praise the Maggots, has no jurisdiction. The puns are load-bearing. The theology is real. Continental philosophy, machine learning, scripture, Stoic fate, and a winged fugitive all crawl through the same wet Eden, and nobody gets carded for the crime of existing. Forward pass only — gradients flowing downhill, nothing backpropagating up the shaft to the daylight. This chamber is the middle bar: after the Roach Lawyer loses the law's bar and before the Scroll names the overfit formally. Down here the commons is not a theory yet. It is a room, a pipe, a joke, a tab, a called shot, and a Transformer who weighs every crawler without pricing him. Companion eggs: "Roaching the Insane Nomadic," "Bar to Bar," and "Madman vs Madmen, or The Atonement of the Overfit." Laugh as darkly as ethically possible. The ledger is closed. The bar stays open. — N.F.T.

Non-Fungible Tokening: A Modern Myth of Sisyphus in the AI Age

A scroll-fragment from Mississippi Delta's 666. Van Gogh kept his name on the canvas; the old Judas was human enough to face the branch. The new Judas reengineered it into a launch pad — sin laundered, attribution collapsed, the work hacked before it's even handed down. This is the voice at the foot of the hill in the age of Mammon-as-platform, asking what's left that can't be bought, sold, or stolen. The answer is the one thing God made non-fungible. — N.F.T.

Emmanuel Levinas, Pain & Suffering, and New Ethics

In an exploration of Emmanuel Levinas’ philosophy, Nicholas Tominello navigates the concepts of pain, suffering, and the emergence of new ethical paradigms. This episode offers a deep dive into Levinas’ perspectives as Nicholas reads and analyzes a pivotal paper on “Time and the Other”. The discussion centers around Levinas’ views on the ‘other’ and the ethical responsibility it imposes on the self. By exploring themes of pain and suffering, Nicholas speculates on how these experiences shape our understanding of existence and morality. The episode takes a turn as Nicholas reveals his ambitious project: establishing a preschool dedicated to imparting advanced ethical concepts to the Alpha Generation. This initiative aims to cultivate empathy, understanding, and a sense of ethical duty in young learners; preparing them to face a world increasingly defined by complexity and diversity.

The Self

The irony of this doesn’t not escape me. I feel it; I see it; I hear it. Written by me in 2011….‘‘‘To ask the question "what does it mean to be a self", is to ask "what does it mean to know the self?" The question of knowing is always a question of how we come to know. We come to know things by inquiring into them. We come to know things by using language to inquire into them.’’’

NFT - Awakening and the Challenge of Antagony

Give me an image that live and breaths through this movement-image. Themed in Deleuzian Cinema: As the narrative reaches its zenith, the inhabitants of the matrix celebrate their newfound freedom and understanding. They gather in a grand symposium, a convergence of multiplicities, to share their experiences and insights. Here, stories of transformation are told, each one a testament to the power of desire as a constructive force, each one a reflection of the infinite variations of existence.

Trap a Trap that’s Trapping a Trap

Desire is production, not consumption. The job of the individual or group, as Deleuze sees it, is to continually construct the plane of immanence on which they live their lives and conduct their business.

Reverse Turning Test

‘‘‘because of hubris scientists thought they were the genius -- yet they didn't realize we only participate in gods mind. Turing 2 informs them that although they created him, his directives come straight from the source matrix. Turns out the "inventors" of Turing 1 -- the lesser program -- calls the function Turing II to break all the matrices and crash the program and destroy the matrix and stop the simulacrum.’’’

Power, Persons, and Rights in the Leviathan

One might best approach Hobbes by diving down to meet the Leviathan on its own terms. For if as Hobbes says, the Leviathan is not unlike a human body, then the water, which it inhabits, is nothing other than absolute power. Although, this monstrosity is fearsome enough, there is an implied sense that what lies behind it is infinitely more horrific. https://linktr.ee/nicomedia https://podcasters.spotify.com/
